Day 6 of 84

Worked out my maintenance plan so I've got about 12 weeks worth of shakes. (8 weeks on shakes, 2 reducing shakes and AAM, then 2 phasing back into ww & carbs) I'm planning to shift 3 stone (and not putting any of it back on!!!) Based on that I'll still be quite a bit off goal, but I may come back to Exante sometime next year if I need to :) (or if I survive the next 12 weeks lol)

Had a chocolate milkshake for breakfast. Getting used to the shakes and not feeling bokey after them :p I think the big trick is getting them blended properly - makes them a lot more tolerable. And adding some nice ingredients, like a dash of cinamon and/or coffee to the vanilla. Put some ice cubes in the freezer ready for a nice day too.

Had a bad dream last night, and woke up with a bit of a rash on my face today... or maybe its just today I've noticed it :p

shake when I came home from work had the straw one with sweetner and icecubes. It was good. Would be even nicer with a big fat dollop of ice cream and some yoghurt though :p oh well!!

Had a bar just now and a can of Coke zero remains for my late night snack. On target for TS today

Day 7 of 84

Another milkshake this morning, taken my bar and buillon to work. Getting into a right ol' routine. Think I prefer not eating any food and doing TS. Certainly seeing a difference in my weight. Yesterday I weighed the same at night as I did in the morning, which nearly never happens! When I was doing ww, I used to weigh myself day and night and get all obsessive, but I find myself not so affected now... which is odd

(i'm going by ww for my weekly loss so I'm not sure how this will tally up to my scales at home)

just a habit I've gotten into, weighing in morning and before bed! lol I'm finding the *obsessive thing* doesnt really happen because I'm not even hungry enough to really care about eating, and Exante is WAY too expensive to waste on binging.. Every time I feel hungry the cost just passes through my head and i'm no longer hungry :p #

It's all a mental thing and I'm in constant battle with the bread loving devil :p

day 8 of 21

my hair started falling out yesterday so I've decided to do a 4 week plan rather than 8 (for the time being anyway) then have a longer maintenance plan.

Felt really depressed last night, to the point where I almost broke ketosis, (had egg and some mayo) but I took one bite and spat it out. Tuesday night, for a very long time, has been our takeout night, the treat of the week. Ofcourse I didn't have anything and all night my head was screaming for junk. I wasn't hungry at all, just a mental thing. And I was hoping for bigger numbers last night!!! Had my WI and lost 6lbs. If I put my mind to it I can do that with ww. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain that kind of weightloss every week for the next 3, then it'll be worthwhile.

Kettlebell class starting tonight and I'm really looking forward to it! Been really missing my exercise (shock horror) since starting exante! Haven't really been able to go every day because I've been really lacking in energy, and worried too much exercise will have a bad effect on my weightloss and wellbeing.

okay so I had a kettlebell class this evening and I'm having to rethink a little bit.

I'm not sure that ketosis/very low cal is for me anymore. I was so weak/sick/dizzy throughout the class and my performance was non existent

So I've decided to stick to the plan...somewhat.

***
Breakfast - shake
Lunch - a sandwich with carb free filling - chicken/ham/beef & salad

Non workout dinner - shake & light dinner (scrambled eggs or something little)
Workout dinner - shake & small amount of carbs (pasta etc) + meat veggies

Treat - exante bar & coke zero

I know I won't be in ketosis, and it will be a bit higher calories wise, but I just cannot sacrifice my barely there health :) So I suppose that means I'm on the simple solution plan now? I still love the shakes so they'll be used, and I'll be able to implement it better into real life.

I've done OVER A WEEK with no junk food, no alcohol, and no takeouts... it sounds really silly but I'm extremely proud of myself and I hope to maintain this :)

Thanks everyone for your wonderful support xx

That's still a good plan hon, we have similar amounts to lose and I also want to do 12 weeks. I couldn't do TS either. Either way we will succeed!

Aye we will. Its been a big lesson for me, and that I know I can go without rubbish for longer than a day is brilliant :) It makes me feel like I can do it now. My weightlosses will probably be rubbish now compared to last weeks, but its cool. Every step is one closer to my goal :)

Now I'm REALLY looking forward to my sammich tomorrow, how sad is that?! :D:D

I think you are doing the right thing for you hun, I personally think it's dangerous for us to exercise on so few cals. The cals we have are worked out to be the bare minimum for keeping us alive, adding exercise on top is bad, bad news. I mean we don't even have enough nutrients to keep our hair going as we are on so little and hair is not a priority so gets nothing...but yet we expect our bodies to cope and be ok with exercise as well... Hmm don't think so! lol

In the past when I have calorie counted AND exercised I have been "smaller" at this weight then I am now..exercise is the way to go if you can put up with the smaller losses each week but you know your body is healthy! I am uming and arring too about it all...not sure what to do yet as I am in a bit of a "rush" and Exante is great for that.

Wow sorry for the ramble! I only wanted to wish you luck...lol, I don't half go on hahaha xxxxx

I agree with Summer! It's why I decided to do WS and the shred (after totm). Your body tones up too so less loose skin.

Yeah I think I'm going to follow Exante principles, shakes, and plenty of low carb food, but I need to add some calories and some carbs or my body won't cope very well. I've been going to the gym nearly a year now and I really miss the fitness level I was at prior to following Exante.

I agree that it is quite dangerous! Its a great diet, i'm not going to argue that.. It's just not really appropriate for people with very active lifestyles.

I stepped on the scales last night, 18'8 3/4!! And this morning it was 18'6.5... Still going well. I think I'm seeing the benefits of not having a takeout Tuesday now. The weight feels like its falling off me now :D Just fingers crossed I can maintain this out of ketosis!xx
