Struggling... what do I do?

Just think of why you moved to Exante in the first place. Write a list of all the things you hate about being bigger. Take it one day at a time, the early days are really hard. I'm only 2.4 weeks in and the evenings are still tricky but ive lost 13 pounds .

My jeans are now a nice fit instead of a squeeze and it really does make it worthwhile. Stick with and make it work for you.

You'll get there, stay strong. I found reading the diaries helped me in the early days as well x

Its a very difficult thing to do , we are coping with not only changing our eating habits but our emotions connected to eating too, i struggle so much in very social situations as i relate it always to food and so do ym friends and EVERYTHING always ends up food related and even if i avoid eating i am out for hours at these things starving (which is never a nice feeling) . I have found that altthough i want to do TS that i have HAD to incorperate pure protein (grilled chicken) in sometimes as its easily accessed at restaurants and can still be like im taking part, unlike my shakes which isolate me , and i really dont think they hinder my weight loss , the body loves the protein . If you have a 'bad' day just get back on track the next day, its about finding what works for you :) I'd always recommend chicken if you are desperately hungry as it wont affect reaching ketosis .

Getfitnana, in what world is a 7 pound loss not good? This is a forum for support not negativity.

Google Exante, if you don't know what it is then why are you posting? The website is full of different diets, have a look through and find the one you're on and post your helpful comments there.

It's not fair if someone's struggling they post for support, we've all been there (me today in fact!).

They may have meant its not good health wise to lose that much weight in a week, I lost 10lbs in my first week and all I hear is how bad it is for me to lose that much, from everyone. I spoke to my Grandad today who is paying for my wedding if I lose 2 stone 8lbs in 14 weeks - told him id lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks and he said 'ooh that isn't good I hope you aren't starving yourself..' Then later '600 calories a day is far too little, you'll make yourself ill' I feel like saying well how else am I going to lose that much weight in 14 weeks??!!!

I've tried exante about 12 times and failed on day 2 as I struggle so much usually. The only way I'm getting through this is the thought of being thin for my wedding and getting it paid for. I really sympathise with you as I think we've all been in the same boat!!
