I think it should be fine if you removed all the visible fat. If it wasn't, none of us would ever be able to eat a stew/soup/chilli - e.g. anything where meat is cooked with a sauce :)

Hope you enjoy it, I made something similar and it was pretty good. Pork and bbq sauce is heavenly :D

Lo,

It was totally Yummy Scrumptious!!! :)

I am making an Orange and Almond cake at the moment.... 14 sins in the whole cake!! :)

I will let you know what it's like. Xxx

Lily,

The slow cooked BarBQ Pork was AMAZING!! Probably the nicest thing I have tried on SW so far!! :)

I just put lean (all fat removed) pork loin steak on the slow cooker and covered with the SinFree BarBQ Sauce. I cooked it on low for 8hrs and all the pork broke down in the sauce! YUM!! I put the mixture in a lasagne dish and topped with carrot & parsnip mash. It was FAB!!!

Not so sure about the cake... It tasted gorgeous but the texture was more like an egg custard than cake. However it did say on the recipe it was more like a pudding than cake. It is very tasty for 2.5 sins a slice! :)

The recipe was on slimming eats, I am going to check I made it right and I didn't miss something out! Lol x

I haven't checked Slimeats for a long time, I watch what Britmum cooks on here in the thread Post your food pics for meal ideas...she's amazing, but looks like she's added a few I haven't seen on that thread...I probably wouldn't like it if it's more like egg custard in texture lol but will definitely be trying the pork, thanks xx

 I'll be trying out the slow-cooked pork next weekend methinks. Pulled pork sandwiches are lovely - I'm struggling to find any wholemeal rolls that fit as a hexb though - anyone know of any?

Mn the orange pud sounds like the one I've made before - it does go more like a custard on the bottom with a spongey layer on top. Nice for now and again - love the fresh orange smell :)

That's exactly what it's like Lo,

It's a bit disappointing when your expecting more of a cake texture! :-( but it was tasy and smelled Devine whilst cooking.

Nor sure if I would make it again though??

I need to review Slimming eats and find some more recipes x

Tesco do a healthy living wholemeal roll that is 57g for a healthy extra, otherwise, I just use any wholemeal roll, and cut a bit off until it is 57g ;)

The Pork sounds delicious Sugar!

Mmmm... I will need to have a look at those rolls.

When I am in America, the pulled pork sandwhich is my favourite!!

I could do an EE day and have a pulled pork sandwich, with sin free chips and homemade coleslaw & side of corn on the cob!! YUM it will just be like being in Florida! Lol

I am on a EE day today...

A bit nervous of my choices this week, as I am having a few EE & Green days. I am trying to mix things up. I don't want my body getting used to all the Red days!!

Breakfast - Bannana and Muller light

Morning snack - orange cake (2sin) and peach

Lunch - Makeral on wholemeal toast (hexB)

Afternoon snack - Apple

Dinner - chicken jambalya with choritzo (8 sins) a lot of sins but I can't bear to substitute the choritzo.

Sins for the 10... So still within daily allowance :)

Ooof, Sugar I'm not much of a one for having an appetite in the morning but the idea of that meal has really got me salivating lol

I think I tried it in the US when they had it as a seasonal special in subway or something. Also from that place in the arndale centre in manc when it was new, theirs wasn't quite as nice :p

It's a workout using Kettlebells.

You buy it with 10 DVD and the weight. Initially it's a 6 week course, that you do 3 times a week. There are 3 workouts each week... Core, resistance & Cardio. The workouts get harder each week.

It's amazing and shreds inches & burns fat. If google KettleWorx, you can see examples of the workouts.

I love it and would definately recommend :) xxx

Morning snack- peach

Lunch- BarBQ pulled pork and carrot & turnip mash (left over from w/end)

Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

Ops.. Sent that and not finished! Lol

Afternoon snack- Apple

Dinner- shepherds pie with peas (hexB) and carrot and turnip mash on top (again but I love it!)

Can someone confirm that I can use Peas as a HexB on a red day or do I need to sin them?

Still another hexB to use and have used no sins today but I am trying to make up for Sat nights red wine! (oops) xxx

Hello :)
Hope you don't mind me popping in!
The book says you can have 142g of peas as a HxB on Red, or 71g as a Speed serving, if that makes sense..?!

:)

Love your menus, and inspired by your losses. Keep it up!!! :D
