Sunday....perhaps time for a new diary?

try not to focus on the number, - I know its hard not to though! What time is it with you now, and is it friday or saturday????
its 9.15am sat here.

i've got my meal out tonight at the italien....so going to try and be good during the day. I'm just doing house jobs this morning, seeing as i'm off on this course tomorow (what a pain losing my sunday to travelling!) and then I'll go ride this afternoon, - my plan is just to keep myself as busy as possible.

I've got half my stir-fry from last night left over (about 350cals) so I may have that for lunch before I go ride. just going to try and keep as busy as possible, its when I stop that I start to pick at things

if you haven't had a rest day since last sunday why dont you have your tea and not go to the gym, and then back to cal counting tomorrow - it might give you metabolism a bit of a kick???

Well I have lot of things running around in my head ATM; going back to work on Monday (lots to do before then), gym or no gym (do love it but knee is hurting, think it's a sign to have a day off and can always do 2 session tomorrow), clean the house and finish my sewing.

Honestly, thinking no gym, going to rest.

Thinking about school (because I wanted to do too many things today and fit in my school work) is putting unwanted pressure on..... so going to get up early and gym tomorrow and then school work until I pick up hubby.

Tonight going to do my sewing and plod around the house finishing off the last of the cleaning and just relax. I find that when I eat is when I think about all the things I want to achieve in a day and I put too many things on my list.

If I really think about it, I am not hungry. I am also because of the scales starting to doubt my ability to diet and which one I am doing..... So, got out my WW cook book and found a point free tomato soup. IF and ONLY IF, I am truly hungry I am going to cook this. Otherwise it's herbal tea and diet soft drink tonight.

Think tomorrow I will be calorie mindful and WW pointing. As of Monday i will do my more restrictive diet as when at work I can focus on this better.

Sorry about the long rant. And thanks for listening.

I know what a shame about loosing your day to travel. Although at least you wont be able to eat too much due to driving. I always take fruit in the car on long journeys like grapes and grab a take away coffee to have with a protein bar.

no worries about the rant - It's nice to be able to speak to someone who's on the same wave length, and is similar height and build, keeps us more motivated I think. just worked out my weight into kilos 79.36 that sounds a lot!

I think its definately a good idea to have a rest day away from the gym, I have a dodgy kneee and ankle and sometimes I just have to stop riding for a couple of days, although it still gives me grief when driving too (not doing too well with my joints at 23 am i!)

enjoy your sewing and try not to get too stressed up about work (although the stress may burn pounds, so whichever you decide is the lesser evil lol)

i'll post before I go tomorrow......and I will think of the scales whilst I am away and I will report back to you asap wednesday....hopefully knowing that I have to confess to you what the scales are going to say will keep me on track....for the record I was 174.4 yesterday...so lets see what wednesday brings argh!

i'm going on the train! argh! i've been and bought some weight watchers bars and hula hoops so hopefully i wont be reaching for a mars bar or anything at the station

Good girl, try and take a piece of fruit. I'm a vegetarian and really push the variety thing.... sorry.

Yes and if it helps keep in the back of your mind that you will be returning to reveal all to me!! LOL

I am 32, a secondary ART/Photography/graphics teacher and also a YR 11 Coordinator. Married, no kids yet and in the process of buying a new home (also stressful).

And yes it's lovely to chat (live) with someone in the same position. I'll be on for about the next 3/4 hours on/off.

sorry i missed your last post - i had to go to the post office.

i'm 23, leaving with other half, not married, no kids, just 2 cats and 1.5 horses. I work full time in finance, - never planned to work in this area, just sort of happened. nearly applied for a job at a local agricultual college recently, for higher education adminstrations and event organisation, would love that job its just not the right time for me to move at the moment - the salary was equal to what i'm on now, but my weekly mileage would have tripled, i.e. more petrol cost. I do hope to move into the education side at some point, - not neccessarily teaching but maybe on the admin side or in adult learning or something. or horse related studies/teaching would be nice.

i'm not a vegetarian, but near as. I rarely eat meat and if I do I am picky. the other half has a farm so I'll eat meat that comes from there, as I know 'where its been' what its been fed etc. the eggs I eat come from the stables, again I know that the hens are truely free range, what they eat, how they are kept etc.

well is 3.20pm here how and ive had 882 cals so far. and ridden both horses (a very very hot day here today so am absolutely worn out now - could just have a little sleep on the sofa!).

going out for italian tonight, im driving so my drinks easy - diet coke-minimal cals, and i'll try and stick to a tomato based pasta or cream free rice dish. going to stay away from the pizzas!

Enjoy your dinner hun.

I had the point free soup and a slice of bread and a square of chocolate and probably about another 200 cals. Going to start fresh in the morning.

Think I am going to WW and point for the week. Wish me luck, just feel i need to stick with something.

good luck.....and you can stick to it.

just think if you do mess up on one meal (which you probably won't anyway) you haven't ruined the whole day,its just 1 meal of 21 in the week, you have 20 more meals in the week to make up for it.

do you ever give yourself a weekly ww points value, rather than daily?

Alex daily works better for me.

Hi Linz xx

Okay it's Sunday morning, just about to go for an hour walk, should be easy on my knee and may attempt the gym later.

I've got to do some school work or at least get sorted and write a list of to do. Couple of loads of washing and then off to the shopping centre near hubby's work to go to the one on one WW store and be weighed. Decided Thursday night is a better WI for me as I can go to the shops after work (late) and be weighed.

Got a few things to do and so long as I dont added any more to the list I shouldn't stress myself out and be able to stick with this and be focused. When I cram too many things into my day I tend to eat when I am stressed or not looking like I am going to complete them all.

Off for that walk.

Walk was good. Hubby needs to be picked up early so not sure if I want to drive 30 mins to pick him up and then back again for a WI after I drop him home?!(same direction)

Also havent seen him for nearly 2 days and he might want breakfast out before going to bed? As he usually tries to stay up and sleep at normal times.

However I have weighed myself at home and I am 76.1 which is 167lbs. Well now i know. Bugs me because day before yesterday I was doing really well and managed to be 75.2. My first goal is to get below 75 this is my dreaded number.

Ok Bren, so I'm off now....will write as soon as I can when I get back. Last night didn't quite go according to plan, and now the scales say 175.8 :-(

Enjoy your trip hun xx.

So I did better today but not perfect. I went to the gym for 40 mins tonight. Drank about 2ltrs of water. Howeever I ate about 26pts instead of the 20 I was aiming for. My daily limit is 22pts.

I'm more organised for tomorrow, just cooked up some 0.5 pt soup (lunch).

Hoping the day should look like this;

porridge 4
coffee and bar 3
soup and crackers 1.5
banana and coffee 1.5
yoghurt 1.5

Leaves 8.5pts for dinner. Going to look at a house tomorrow night after work and hoping hubby wont want to eat out for dinner....?!

Would like to aim for 2ltrs of water again tomorrow and not sure about the gym, might not have time after work etc.

Well the scales have been kind the day before my WI. I have gone from 76.1 to 75.6 that's a lb loss fingers crossed for the morning....................

Day is already off to a better start, my porridge didn't explode in the micro like yesterday! Plus I'm wearing a new skirt, which I made.
