SW Defector - Come on Weight Watchers, lets do this!

Well I have Tandoori Chicken and green peppers in a weight watchers cook in the bag marinade in the oven to be served with brown rice and salad for dinner :)

Then a Mars ice cream and a bag of salty and sweet popcorn :) happy days!

I take it you haven't decided yet?! X x
Nope I should plan better lol xx

Hi all! Thanks all for a great welcome!!! Didn't get to the meeting in the end as time ran away with me :( heading to another one tomorrow night @ 6. Better luck tomorrow! Sammy - almost right! Jack is a jack Russell, westie, cairn terrier cross! Mum was the cairn/JR and dad was the Westie! View attachment 145281

As a result we have a hairy creature that looks like a jack but has westie hair and tail!

Bless him he is lovely! I can see the westie, cairn and jrt in him too.

Thank you! We don't have children so he is our baby! I love him slightly more than I do my husband lol!!

Lol, had a giggle at that last part :D

Ooh, that sounds good Charlie!

Love salt and sweet popcorn - hits the crisp craving spot everytime. Your food sounds lovely :)

WW crisps are great for hitting the spot too and only 2pp per packet ;)

Yummmm dinner was lovely :) definitely having that again, I had extra points and was starving so I even had a slightly bigger portion of rice than normal. Weighed of course!

Sweet and Salty popcorn is lushhhh :)

It's a marinade in the bag that you get from WW meetings, diced some chicken and peppers and put in the oven till done. And then just brown rice and salad. Was yummy.

I need help again ladies. Other half has just told me that it is his works meal tomorrow night and we are going! I know, plenty of notice eh?! I have just looked on their website and they do 500 calorie meals, am I right in thinking that one of those would be 13pp? Going by 40 calories = 1pp roughly? I mean I can overestimate and probably will anyway. It's just a normal pub, do you have any suggestions?! X x

The two options I am thinking of deciding between when I get there are:

- Beef Lasagne (under 500 calorie meal) 13pp and 2 pieces of pub garlic bread (for beefeater pubs this is 5pp) so 18pp altogether

OR

- 8oz Rump Steak 7pp, Large Jacket Potato 8pp, salad and maybe treat myself to the 3 onion rings (For Beefeater a portion of 6 is 7pp) but would class 3 as 5pp to be safe? So 20pp altogether

I would like to go having a choice of two so that I can choose what I fancy at the time, does that all sound okay? X x

Yeah it is :) the watermill? To be honest even after the rest of the day I will have 28pp to play with so I can count say 25pp to be safe if necessary. :) x

Yeah I think you'll be fine Hun. I know the watermill I used to live bout 5 to 10 mins away I am right it's not too far away walk from the graveyard and Britons park xx

Ahh yeah it is :) not been before, but his workmate picked it. I've been to similar pubs though of the same chain. Just wanted to make sure I planned ahead so that I can still enjoy it and not stress about food! X x

Yeah your being sensible. I'm surprised I still remember I used to live by the graveyard by castle motors if you know where that is, I'm taking over your thread tonight xx

Charl why don't you do it as a filling and healthy day then cut any fat off the steak and ask them not to put butter on your jacket spud but have it on the side? Might be easier than trying to point it because the 40cals= 1pp is a myth by all accounts. Hope that helps x

Ooh that's a point may have to think about that. I'm having a smoothie for breakfast with fruit and ff natural yoghurt, a warburtons thin for lunch with chicken and salad and then just fruit so that would all come under F&H wouldn't it?

That's a good point, thanks Scarlet.

Haha Sugar Fairy, it's fine by me, it's nice to have someone to chat to! Yeah I know where castle motors is :) x

It would so cinders can can go to the ball lol

You could point a steak easily enough but when you can do it on f&h guilt free why bother eh? X
