T_T's (hopefully!) dimishing returns!

Good luck on packing up smoking. I'm a year free from it and still using my e-cig. I'm planning on getting rid of that once I've lost a bit more weight!

I used a fab app called 'smoke free' when I first gave up, it calculates how much money you've saved, how your health is improving and how many days since you quit. It's great!
 
Well, breakfast casserole was different... the smell was wonderful and I loved waking up knowing that breakfast was nearly ready and I had nothing to do. I think it needed a bit more tweaking to be great though. My slow cooker is only small, so halved the recipe for us. I think it needed more egg, but that could be down to the shape of my slow cooker, compared to the dish used in the picture on the website. Definitely worth another go anyway!

Sunday - EE today. Will mostly be doing not a lot, trying to kick this cold! Head feels all stuffed up and painful sinuses. Just generally a bit icky! Also going to get some cooking sorted for next weeks lunches as well.

B - slow cooker casserole - eggs, tinned toms, quorn bacon, potatoes, mushrooms and onion.

Not sure what the plan is food wise today, will see as we go along!
 
Sorry Sal, we must have posted at the same time! I'm going to have a look at that app. I did manage to quite for about 6 months last year, but things got too much and smoking was the first thing to give.

Been for a wander to get food in. And picked up a gorgeous pair of shoes in the Clarke's sale. Lovely light lilac colour, ready for Spring.

Just having ploughmans type lunch again.

HEXB toast and HEXA phili, tin of WW tuna (2 syns) - apple, grapes, carrots, tomatoes, sugar snaps. Quorn rolled up with cottage cheese! (all yum and very filling)

D - LM sausage and mash. Couple of syns worth of gravy and an alpro (5.5) - total syns for the day 9.5
 
I think the breakfast casserole sounds like it is worth a try :) I think I may try it next weekend, sounds like a good weekend brekkie :)

Carrot ,leek & ginger soup sounds interesting? :)
i nearly bought a carrot/coriander soup mix , yesterday then didn't realising i'm not keen on coriander :D

Yup, very much spring shoes! They're so pretty. And I ordered two skirts from Dorothy Perkins in the sale - also in pretty pastels! I am trying to ignore the weather forecast.

Gutted that it's Monday again... I feel crappy, but dosed up on as much as I can safely take. SP day today.

B - mixed frozen berries with quark and vanilla syrup.

S - sugar snaps, tomatoes and carrots. Alpen light x 2 (HEXB1)

L - soup (it's really yummy, but does have corriander in as well!). Salad and mini quiches. Melon.

D - Quorn spag bol, with courgette spaghetti.

Might also have a pack of shapers crisps (3 syns). Just focussing on getting through today in one piece!
 
Hope today isn't too horrible, get some Vit C in you as well! I think you're meant to up that anyway when you give up the fags - I think smoking inhibits Vit C absorption or something. *science*
 
Science... on a Monday morning!? Head feeling a bit better today? teehee.

I technically still have one cigarette left. So not a non-smoker just yet. I'm feeling ok, just sinus pain still. At least when I was at home, it was acceptable to have my head over a bowl of olbus oil and hot water... not quite so easy at work! Will just see how it goes. Stupidly signed up for over time today as well. Oh well, 30 minutes done and just 30 to get through at the end of my shift.

put some on the other week and they were a bit lower than that.....fellt very un-stable! LOL
Yrs before had some lovely heels for a night out...a friend caame with me for her opinion on outfit etc....and she was in fits at my attempts to walk in these heels :D
took me a week or so of practice to even look steady wearing them!:D

And to think as a 15-16 yr old i was always in heels!

Want some more some when.....perhaps when i get to target :D......will still need 'practise' though....before venturing out in them :D
 
Popped into Boots and couldn't resit getting one of the Shapers mint nougat bars to try - 4 syns, will let you know how it is later!

Can't believe we've not long got home and it's already 7.15... tired, hungry bleurgh.

Had some toast for my 2nd HEXB with half my HEXA of phili. Will use the rest of my HEXA to have some cheese on my "spag" bol.

Not sure if I'll be having a Alpro later, but if I do, total syns for the day of 12.5 / if I don't will only be 7.
 
Nougat bar verdict... not bad. Wouldn't rush to buy them, but fairly syn friendly when you want a chocolate fix!

Tuesday - bus was late, then keyboard wouldn't work! So late getting to you this morning.

B - berries, banana and blueberries with FF greek and natural yogurt.

S - carrots/sugar snaps/tomatoes. 2 x alpen light (HEXB) Shapers onions rings (2 syns)

L - pasta bake, with HEXA of cheese.

I think the OH is planning on roasting fish and veg for dinner. Will find out when I get home from being Mindful!

Well... today is going to happen. Had a bit of a relapse with my anxiety etc. Got to work; had mini melt down; came home on bosses advise.

So I'm going to try and be on plan. Temptation to just snack on crap, but attempting to ignore that and be good. It was going to be an SP day, but will be just normal EE, so I can have some mashed potato later!

I tried to eat my breakfast when I first got into work, but just couldn't manage it. So I had a couple of mouthfuls of quark and berries - it's now in the work fridge for tomorrow!

Had an alpen light bar on the way home - 3 syns.

Will see how the rest of the day goes. WI tomorrow, but I'm not going to beat myself up if things don't go to plan today.
