Taking the plunge!

this is my first 'proper' day of eating but i have a confession to make before i start, i was a little piggy last night and made myself quite ill! i had my weigh in with my consultant, i lost 2lbs so im currently dead on 9st (not this morn tho!) and instead of just seeing out my first 'down' day, i ended up having a doner kebab and chocolate for afters! i felt guilty later so i got the kettlebell out and did half an hour of squats, swings and general toning with it. aching this morning now but got up in the night and was sick as a dog, felt so ill, i nearly phoned my mother! so learned my lesson there! good thing is im not hungry at all this morn and im going for lunch this afternoon so will be having something nice instead of my original plan of weetabix for brekkie then tuna mayo sandwich for lunch! not really an ideal way to start an Up day as i had planned to be good but i'll have a tidy dinner tonight to compensate then its a down day tomorrow to get back on track!

weighed this morn and i was 9st then 9st 1lb so i've already gone up as i was 8st 13lbs yest morn on the house scales but then until i get into the swing of JUDDD, i wont know my true first week weight until around next saturday after my down day on the friday. so bit of a blip at the start but today is really my focus to get through my first proper Up day. will be exercising tonight after work, 30 day shred and some kettlebell toning again then will have a nice shower and cheese and bacon pasta bake for dins with a slice of cheesecake to follow. weirdly im looking forward to my down day tomorrow as i still feel like a right bloater after yesterday's binge!
 
Don't worry about it hun, Today is the start of a new plan so yesterdays kebab is history, forget it ;) You are right to ignore the swings you see on the scales your weekly weigh in is the real guide and just make sure you weigh after a DD, this will mean alternating your weigh days if you are following a strict UP DD rotation but thats fine , good luck and enjoy !
 
thanks hun! im focusing on today now, whats done is done and i felt sooooo ill i wont be making that mistake again! the good thing is though im aching after the kettlebelling so im hoping thats at least done me some good! actually looking forward to doing 30 day shred tonight, havent put that on for a long time now so it'll nice to get my body moving again!
 
so far today i have had an all day breakfast consisting of 2 sausages, 2 eggs, toast, potato fritter and beans, they forgot the bacon - how random!! then i had some little rolos as i was craving a sweet taste. feeling very very full at the moment, should keep me going til i get home when ill have a quick sandwich then do my dvd and a session with the kettlebell before dinner tonight. enjoying the freedom to eat but nervous about being naughty on tomorrows down day. i am quite busy tomorrow though so hopefully the distractions will keep my mind off food until saturday where i can eat freely again!
 
am also going to note my gains and losses (hopefully lol!!) by weighing every day so todays is 9st 1lb, tomorrow will prob be 10st 7lbs with the amount im eating today! i feel like the size of a bus already!
 
How did u find ur first day?? Was a lot harder than i expected it to be!!

well first Up day over, i ate my 2000 cals for definite! my day looked like this:

all day breakfast consisting of 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, beans, potato fritter and toast with lots of butter
3 choc orange slices
handful of little rolos
cheese and bacon pasta bake
chips with melted cheese and mayo on the side
slice of rocky road cheesecake


so i stuffed my face there!

weighed this morning and i am 9st 4lbs. so far ive had one shake which i had at 12 so im trying to stretch the shakes out to give me a cushion. i dont feel hungry so thats good although i did feel a bit hungry this morning when i woke up. im out tomorrow for my friends birthday so im going to have weetabix for breakfast to try and balance a healthy way of eating as it didnt happen yesterday! i'm having lunch out so ill have whatever i fancy for that then drinking in the afternoon and evening so most of my calories will go there i think tmrw. hoping to see a loss on the scales tmrw as although i was prepared for a gain today, it did shock me more than i expected but at least its got me focused on sticking to todays down day! hoping the first week is the hardest as im thinking about food a lot today!
 
day 2 down day went as follows:

1 CD shake 137 cals
1 WW meal 287 cals
1 snacksize dairy milk 75 cals

totalling 499 cals

weighed this morning and have only lost 1lb so bit disappointed with that as i thought it would be at least 2-3lbs loss judging by the gains and losses other posters seem to have. maybe its because its my first week changing to juddd (i hope!) also ive been doing a session of kettlebells i.e. 3 sets of 12, 6 different moves such as squats plus the 30 day shred on the Up days so maybe im gaining muscle weight, i do feel very heavy after the exercise so maybe this is a side effect.

really hoping i see good results with this, at the moment im not feeling confident but i know ive only just started so have to give it a chance, im just not used to seeing the scales jump up so much!
 
I totally no how u feel!!!! Scales are showing a 2.5lb gain and its driving me insane!!!
But i guess weve got to eat at some point in the future so its all trial and error?.....
But im still not convinced, il see what happens with thurs weigh in - but i still wana lose a stone and a half, so im wonderin if this diet would b better for maintenance for me. As i know ill get upset if i sts or only lose a pound, but will at least do it til next thursday! X
 
im feeling crap at the mo, currently at 9st 5lbs which is gutting considering i weighed in at 9st on weds. feeling frustrated with the gain but i know i have to persevere with it because its a way of life not just another diet. im giving myself til christmas to be in a size 8-10 so really i should stop obsessing on the scales and look at my clothes and inch loss more than anything. i'll give judddd at least a month and even if the scales are not great, if ive lost inches ill be happy with that. ive started 30 day shred on my Up days so really i should lose weight/fat through doing that if anything else! as it stands these are my initial weigh in results

thurs - 9st (up)
fri - 9st 4lbs (down)
sat - 9st 3lbs (up)
sun - 9st 5lbs (down)

hoping tomorrow will bring a better loss than fridays down day result!

thank you!! ive let the CD diary slip at the mo as focusing on my Juddding! as you can see, results not brill at the mo but have to give it time, its defo water weight as i feel light today, weirdly enough i feel light on the down days and the up days i can feel quite sluggish in the evenings which is typical as they are my exercising days!! will try to exercise in the morning more on the Ups to get it out of the way, i can get lazy if i put it off til late!

I've asked for my diary to be moved but still there ATM

Pretty happy to be honest!! Had a good inch loss since exercising and I was weighed at 9 st 13 on fri. Not weighing now until 24th which will be my last weigh in before hols, focusing more on the exercise and inches :)

I'm not restricting myself to anything I REALLY want just making sure I burn it off, havin 2 shakes, a healthy meal (usually with carbs) and only snacking on fruit x
 
thats fab! hope i get good inch losses like you from the exercising! im going to do my kettlebells today, i only do around 15 mins as i just do a few sets of standard moves but ive ordered a 10-minute kettlebell dvd so i can fit in those exercises with a bit more structure from next week on, plus the 30 day shred is defo working, im struggling to get in and out of the bath lol!! feeling much better after exercising though, i hated the fact i couldnt really do it during CD as i used to be very active before doing it. will be giving juddd and exercise a good go this month and hopefully will be reporting good results hopefully more along the lines of inch loss even if the scales dont budge too much!

what sort of inches have u lost? x
 
Im gonna do my 3rd day of level 2 shred after the gym tonight, level 2 is killing me!!

From memory in 10 days I lost 2 inches off my waist, inch and a quarter off my hips and half an inch off my thigh!

My goal red jeans are fitting better I'm hoping they will be properly wearable on sat but my goal was to be in them by holidays x
 
well done thats a great inch loss in such a short space of time! im also on level 2, the planks are killing me but i really want to shape and slim my legs, hips and thighs so the squats and lunges on the strength bits are great for me! i do mine every other day because of the Up days calorie increase so my results will prob be slower but im defo feeling the burn! hope the kettlebell and shred combo will work for me! keep me updated with your results and let me know where your diary moves to! x
 
Think it's stuck where it was for now lol

Will report my weight/inches etc on the 24th, just want to see some decrease as I've got a weekend off starting sat with my best friends lil girls 1st birthday but I will go gym first thing and be as good as I can, Sunday it's my friends wedding and I will eat and drink as I please as I've waited 2 years for this!! Monday I will try my hardest to get back in the gym despite the hangover!!

Planks wreck me too, but it's working so plod on!! x
