I used to frequent the gym alot when i was 10stone something....and i even felt self concious at that weight amongst all the super skinny girls.
I remember a night I was at the gym and these 2 teenage "gym bunnies" came in to the changing rooms with their iPods, full make-up, hair done up like they were off out clubbing and kept loudly going on about how they had to stop working out as they were starting to break into a sweat. They then proceeded to use the scales in the changing room and started squawking about how "fat" they were at 7 stone something. I felt like punching them both as I was about 13 stone at the time and their attitude really annoyed me. Everyone in the changing room looked really uncomfortable and were trying to avoid eye contact with each other when these 2 stood in front of the mirrors shouting about being fat and their weight. Apart from them I don't think anyone else there was less than my weight.
People like that should be banned from gyms as they just think turning up means they've done a work out and then there's everyone else who has truly flogged themselves to the brink of collapse in a bid to fight the bulge and idiots who are lucky enough to be thin make everyone else feel like crap about themselves.
