Sorry Nannydi... I didn't see your post there... I live in the North of France and have been here for a couple of years.. but still don't speak the language lol

Oh ... I see..we post when we have lost weight... silly me... 2lb for me please :party0011:

I am away next wednesday.. for 6 days and it is going to be really hard so hoping to loose a few pounds prior to going as although I will be careful... It will be more relaxed:( but going to get new scales so they will keep me on the straight and narrow lol.


 
just enjoy yourself hunny, but don't go silly, if you do gain anything whilst you away you can soon shift it again!!!!

the good thing about this site is that we are all in the same boat we all want to lose weight or keep it off (although i am a long way off the latter!)

but at the same time we cannot totally deprive ourselves of anything because then we will crave it, i must admit i have now learnt and can understand the word moderation!!! there will in our time be occasions where we slip off plan but as long as we stay in the positive frame of mind we will get back into it......

the world is our oyster, ours for the taking

I joined sw september 23rd and had my first weigh in september 30th and lost 3lbs but i guess that doesnt count for oct :( lol. im trying to add a profile picture as i dont think my account has been activated properly. at group i set a target to loose 2 stone by the 1st january 2009 as im going on holiday that day. i think thats slightly too ambitious now what do you all think?????? chantelle.

i think you'll find that 30th september does indeed come under the october challenge as it actually started on monday and you weighed on turesday so
your 3lb loss can and will be included

But I am expecting a small amount to go on when I'm away but will come back fighting to start again... this is good Nannydi as it is inspiring me more to loose it... thanks again
