The battle of the Bubble

Hey good to hear from u sis! Thanks to all mini friends for being so caring. Its like having a big family and someone to keep an eye on you.

Ok, calm down, big breath and everything will fall into place slowly but surely. You are a very worthy person and many people are proud of you, and I know when u put your mind on something you'll get it done.

Minifreinds! how are the October challenges going? Just under 3 mnths to Christmas so lets do our best till then cos I don't know if I can keep away from Christmas cake and mince pies. mmmmm!

Just had a JP with baked beans and 2 pork sausages (9 syns).

Hi - good to hear from you - yes yum yum to Christmas - but I need to lose some weight first!! I've not had a good month since I came back from a holiday at the beginning of Sept - but I'm doing Kay's soup challenge this week - just finished day 2 so fingers crossed I can finish the week!! Keep up the good work! xx

I think Mins friends are sometimes better than a family... .well my family anyway and they don't leave a mess around my house hehe. Hoping the rest of October will be better than yesterday, I had a minor blip and got the munchies but am back on plan today and keeping as busy as possible.
Oh Lord... please don't make me think about Christmas cake and mince pies, I absolutely love both!! I'm planning to have Christmas Day and Boxing Day off and eat what I want, then finger crossed, i'll be ready to get back on it. Mind you, I'm so used to cooking SW meals now that I reckon Christmas dinner will still be fairly on plan but with the cake and mince pies and choccies lurking, no doubt lots of extras in between.

Hope you're having a good day and a good week over there xx

Hi Hun.

Having a quick browse through, it's been a very long time!

Hope you are doing well xxx

Braved the scales this morning 1lb on which to be honest is a big surprise as I have been sooooo off plan! Just got a few more bits to sort out and I'll be back with a vengance and thats a promise. Think im only going to aim for a stone before christmas, but cant seriously think christmas yet....

Hope you all keeping ok. X

Hi it's lovely to see you post and just a lb on is nothing. If you've managed that off plan you'll soon show a loss when things are less hectic. :)

It's another wet morning here but I'm still tucked in bed atm. Hubby is off for the next three days hoorah so he's going to get all those little jobs that need doing while he's too busy at work. Nothing too taxing mind. :)
I'm hoping for a quick hair trim today, but nothing much else planned apart from normal chores. X

So chuffed for you Bubble - 1lb is nothing is it - you'll soon have that off! Good plan to aim for a stone off for Christmas - that'd be a lovely pressie to you!! Hope that's given you a little boost? You sound more upbeat - I hope things are coming together for you - lovely to hear from you.

I haven't started to plan for Christmas either - we don't go overboard here - we have special days on THE DAY, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve - I've cut down on the goodies I buy as they're so much temptation for me and the rest of the family don't have a sweet tooth or gorge on the cheese & biscs etc!! The shops don't close for long so we won't starve!! xx

Hope Bubbles 2 is doing well too! xx

Thanx guys today has been my first day off in a month. (Except weekends where nothing can get done) ive blitzed the house from top to toe and feel so much better for it. Its looking half normal and clean, ive just got a mound of ironing to get through and ill be back ontop of things in here. Kitchen going well but slow. But at least the dusty messy works gone. Just electrics a bit of plastering a lick of paint and were ready to go i think. The prob is fitting it round his work too.
Still waiting for the loan to come through for my car so wont be able to pick it up tomorrow as planned but tbh ive got so much toing and froing with the kids tomorrow its probably a blessing in disguise.
Work all coming together just waiting for the ofsted thingy and then i can relax there too.
Question is do i go on plan for 2 weeks before half term? Me and a friend going to yarmouth with the kids. Cant wait! I guess i can give it a real go for 2 weeks but im not being on plan whilst away, we are chilling big style with lots of goodies! :sly::p:D:)

It makes you feel better when you've had a good tidy through, doesn't it, even if, as you say the kitchen isn't finished, at least you know yourself that you've done what you can to clean up. I find cleaning quite therapuetic too, I can switch off my brain and just do it on autopilot and think about other things while I get the chores done.
Hope your loan comes through soon but agree, getting a new car when you've got so much running around to do might not be the best option.
Pre-holiday, if it were me I'd try and be good and lose a few lbs even though I planned to re-gain them while away lol, then at least I can enjoy it knowing I'm not doubling what I end up gaining, if you see what I mean but do whatever you can manage with your busy schedule. You deserve a good break, no wonder you're looking forward to it! :)
Have a good weekend too xx

I think looking at 1lb a week off till Christmas is great.... I'd love to lose a stone by then! I'm with you at not going overboard for Christmas, though we will have all the family here plus other visitors, so bit manic. I do better when its busy though, I can offload all the food on others and manage pretty much myself. When they all go home afterwards I send them off with food parcels and the rest gets sent in to work on hubby's first day back or put in the freezer.

Yes our house is the same - there'll be 9 at Christmas and 12 at New Year - my eldest rotates the 2 with his in laws - and they all get a goody bag to go home with - but I still manage to stuff myself!

Really will try to limit what I buy this year esp with the things I love (so that'll be a challenge as anything with sugar or fat usually appeals!)

Argh, well after me saying I didn't want anything like that in the house yet, hubby came in with two tins of sweets today! Celebrations and another one, I didn't want to see in the bag! I've instructed him to put them in the loft!!

Oh cloudy great idea didnt think of loft. Ive got heroes celebrations and roses staring at me already!
You right im ready to rumble with healthy eating running the freezer down ready for my big american one to come next weekend. So just looked and have sw currys, shepherds pie, chilli, lasagne and stews frozen. Thats this weeks eating sorted.
Im on it girls im going to do my best although it wont be perfect i know but better than i have been these last 2 weeks. Feeling positive the best ive been for a while. :D

Christmas will be just us 5, i love big christmasses and i miss my family get togethers in cyprus, but.... i also love a pyjama christmas with the kids enjoying their gifts and no other stresses to worry about. Its going to be just lovely.
Oooooh im quite excited thinking about it.

I feel so normal today and its such a nice feeling. X

I'm quite excited for you. I'm feeling a bit like I'm one step from falling off the wagon so it helps seeing you all fired up too! We're out for this meal tomorrow and I'm going to have a reasonably on plan main course but then a pudding. Then Sunday roast chicken SW style, so back on it and want to have a really good week!
I want to do a proper weeks meal plan too!
You're getting me all fired up now :)

I don't do loft ladders so I should be ok! Maybe you need a big box with a chain and padlock lol! X

Much giggling here... because the first thing that came to mind was a box, with you leaning in to it, with your boobs stuck in some kind of trap! The trouble is, if your head was also in the box and you were stuck, you would just have to eat all the chocolate until someone came to rescue you. :D
