The beachball is back!!!

Blimey has it really been over a year since I updated this? Such a lot has happened this year too. I finished my PGCE which means I am now a teacher (sort of, no permanent job yet, just supply work), my eldest son has been really ill & it's been a very, very difficult year. I've also gained most of the weight I lost. So here goes again ............

Started the day off making the quick & easy SW tomato soup (toms, baked beans, onions all blended) & it was surprisingly nice. My boys like Heinz Cream of Tomato but even they ate it & said it was nice.

Had Diet Coke chicken for tea & will definitely make that again. Delicious!

Feels good to be back :)

Errrrm do I need to call the "B" police??? xx

I wondered what you meant for a minute! I know I didn't have a B did I? I was so stuffed at bed time I couldn't face anything. I shall have to plan a bit better than that!

Today's been ok. Been swimming with my girls. Not a lot of swimming done but moved around a lot, playing with the 7 yr old. Better than vegging out on the sofa at home!

Also been on my power plate, or as the 7 yr old calls it, mum's vibrator ........ she asked the neighbour if he's like to have a go on mum's vibrator a few weeks ago

Anyway, it's like a cheaper version of a flabulos machines & is supposed to tone you up. A friend of mine lost 6 stone in a year & she reckoned she didn't diet, just went on this thing every day for 10 mins. Worth a try - lazy person's exercise machine. I go through phases with mine but intend using it every day if I can.

It's treat Friday tomorrow. I always always always take Friday evenings off of plan whatever diet I follow. So tomorrow I'll count syns all day & keep them to a minimum, then in the evening I'll have a bottle of wine or a few voddys & probably polish off the rest of the tin of Roses. Back on the wagon first thing Saturday morning though.

Well, so much for taking Friday evening off of plan ........

Shopped with eldest & 16 yr old (no college) & talked into having a Tesco brekkie. Do I go for SW friendly? Do I heck. 2 sausages, egg, mushrooms, white toast and BUTTER!

bread & cheese for lunch ...... followed by two small eclairs

bought these Chinese & Indian buffet things for tea & ate about 20 bits & pieces, followed by half a bottle of vodka & a ton of chocolates. Broke a tooth too, on a toffee (serves me right really)

So I imagine I consumed about 5000 calories yesterday. 1000 was possibly free/HEA or B. So I think I had about 200 syns. Oops  :(

One good thing: went to docs with eldest & doc says he's really pleased with his progress. Has signed him off for 8 weeks but says Jon's health has improved so much. It's been a year now since Jon got ill. Keeping everything crossed he'll make a full recovery soon. Hopefully 2012 will be a good year. :)

S: HEB Hifi bar.

I'm saving my syns as tomorrow I've got to go back to the Eden Project as my daughter took a load of photos there for her A level photography & her camera wasn't working properly. She wants to go back tomorrow as she has a day off of college, to retake them, but doesn't want to go on her own. And Eden have the most gorgeous bakery with cakes the size of dinner plates. So I'm saving my syns so I can half half a cake tomorrow with my daughter!

Forgot to update yesterday. My total syns were about 25 from the delicious Eden Project scone, cream & jam (had half, but they are MASSIVE!). I had about 7 from the day before so needed to make up some today.

I think I've gained this week. Been a scales-hopper all week & the damn needle just won't move! Must have been the almighty blow-out I had on Friday. Never mind. Onwards and upwards (or should that be downwards?)

Teaching tomorrow - year 5. Am I nervous? YESSSSSS!!!!!! They are much bigger than the usual reception/yr 1/2 that I'm used to teaching. I told the agency I was a bit nervous & they kind of said that was nonsense. I need the experience of teaching the older kids, just hope I get on ok. I've packed up some pasta for lunch & half a ton of fruit to see me through the day.

Thanks for your message :). Unfortunately I weigh about a stone heavier than I did in those pics :-( but hopefully I can get back there some time soon.

I love quizzes & the Minimins one is good as it only takes a minute to do!

Right, got a spare couple of mins. Been up to my eyes in it. Last week I gained 1lb (Friday night splurge to blame) & this week I've lost the 1lb. Can't be disappointed it wasn't more, I had a huge bag of licorice allsorts & half a bottle of vodka Friday night, followed by half a huge Dominoes pizza & a bottle of wine on Saturday. So 1lb off is good really!
