The cambridge diet

I am just coming to the end of day one on ss and feeling hungry with a headache but trying to get the water drank ... Managed 1.5 litres so far :0/ ..... X x

Hi I have been trying to start on Cambridge for the last two days but had a couple of false starts. Starting tomorrow on SS as I need to lose 5 stone. Really need to do t as I suffer with pcos and would love another baby but no chance of falling pregnant till I lose the weight. I really need some support and positivity.

Hello everyone,
really good to read the posts of other people doing Cambridge. I am starting the shakes on Tuesday but began today to lower carbs and drink more on the advice of my counsellor. Actually really looking forward to regulating my eating and starting get to a healthier weight! Not going to be easy drinking all that water though, currently drinking water feels horrible!

hiya i have just joined this site. help pleaseeeee i do not have a clue what im doing lol. i am starting the CD thurs day so have joinded for support thanks rachel x

Thanks diaryofacambridgebeauty how is it going for you so far?

I'm not going to lie it has been challenging but I've found strength from somewhere. I do think it's more mental than anything you have to think why am I doing this and it's not forever take it day by day. Today is day 6 and I weigh tomorrow that's what got me through today just knowing it will all be worth it tomorrow. I've also kept a diary and am writing things down like why I'm doing this and all the things id like to do when thin (wear a bikini and not get depressed when shopping cus everything will fit) and I read back over that when I need strength. This site has helped so much though just reading other people's success makes me want it for myself. I know we can all do it people! X x x

About to start this diet on the 25th and so excited after hearing about so many success stories. Worries are the side effects such as hair thinning. For a girl who takes pride in her hair this is worrying bit I guess is only temporary?
As for water I've researched and read the best ways to consume enough water, it's recommended a bottle every 2 hours and to avoid drinking large amounts in one go. I'm already increasing my water intake and cutting down mg carbs in preparation. Bring it on! x

Guys had my first weigh in this week 5 and a half pounds loss. I did really want more but ill hold my head high and take it that it's still lighter than I was before. In going strong into the second week looking to just smash this stone by stone x

Hi im new to this forum but am about to start cambridge ss on sunday I've done it before and lost 4 stone so aiming for that again any tips on completing week 1 ?? Tips greatly received

Hi Maxlofty

I found in week 1, reiterating to myself why I was doing this, was very important in keeping me on track. I have lost 16lbs since my diabetes diagnosis and haven't being on Cambridge all of that time. Actually only 8 days of SS to get into normal BMI territory before moving to stage 2. Then was off it for the last 12 days due to illness. Will go back on stage 2 when completely well again.

Good luck!

Im on day two now and to be honest im finding it pretty easy so nice not to battle with food, you've done really well it will be so worth it thanks for the good luck x
