The First Diary of Trudy C age 40 something!

Poor Trudy... I felt cold reading you diary, good luck for today and dont you dare even smell that nasty, yucky pre-prepared kfc rubbish.....put youself off by thinking....bet they dont even wash there hands...it works for me. lol
 
making me tired thinking about all the driving, mud and rain ........... Lancashire Show is nearly always like that. Hope you win something today :)
 
No prizes again today but got second which was grand and horse did well despite the mud!!! Lots of people admired him which he loved as he's a real ham!!! Didn't get lie in this morning as show organisers wanted to move our caravan at 6am!!! Not their fault but once my boss was up there was no more lying about!!! GRRRRR!!! The weather was rubbish, really windy and mud everywhere but could have been worse as the rain stayed away for most of the day... Thanks to the early start we did get to watch some fun in hand classes with all the horses leaping around in the wind and mud!!!! Got home at 10.45pm with a very tired horsey!!!!Soooo nice to be in my own bed!!!
Catching up quickly with MM - great to see Silvers target pic - getting me more motivated to get to target! Was supposed to have a PV day today but by dinner time I still hadn't had any veg so thought I may as well do another PP - so will treat myself to a PV tomorrow!
PP day
B - 2 boiled eggs/ 2 muffins/ tofu creme and rhubarb
L/D was combined as showing till 4pm - 1 boiled egg/salmon/prawns/dukan BBQ sauce/ 2 muffins/ tofu creme and rhubarb
Glad I took the time to plan my food for the last couple of days as it kept me on the dukan straight and narrow!!!!
 
showing is no fun in the wind and rain.... we were in a mud hole the other week lol. big show here today was cancelled as the showground flooded pretty bad over night... a few ppl rathjer annoyed as had reached the show by the time it was called off.... not much the organisers could do though due to weather

NPS on tommorrow ...glad i didnt enter now.... getting stressed enough about the highland seeing as they have sent my ruddy members stuff to the wrong address and keep telling me to fone back in a few days... last day for changeing to a week wristband is tuesday and i dont have mines yet grr

Ellie - do you want our wristband/stable???? Have a stable for the week I think and wristbands for the Sat only, if they are any good to you, can pop them in the post if you like - we have no use of them!!!! Let me know! Just a thought! would be nice not to see the eighty odd pound go to waste - your probably sorted but was just a thought!!!!
Anyway - slept like a dead person last night - was really tired when I got home but always takes me a while to wind down from driving so only got to sleep after 12... First job of the day was to fetch a horse from the vets so yet more driving.... Got back and straight into working horses, they were very good and also had some lessons to teach which went well!!!! River is right up thanks to the rain we had but the levels are supposed to be dropping now so we hopefully will be okay - there is a fair amount of flood water on the fields but so far the bridge is okay!!!! Hope I am making the right decision leaving them in situ!!!!! I usually over react so trying not to this time!!! LOL!
Hamsters new ball arrived today and he enjoyed playing around the floor - he is getting better and better to handle and so far hasn't bitten me or Ben!!!! Gonna miss him a teeny bit when he goes back to school on Monday!!!!
Loved my PV day today but full to the brim and my tummy hurts a little bit!!!! That will teach me!

So today was the last day of the week for me and I was a bit tired from all the driving etc.... Had a few lessons to do but an easy day otherwise...... Had a concert tonight which generally went okay but my solo was soooooo rubbish I am laughing about it!!! Just couldn't get the volume up or find a balance with the song - then sang when I shouldn't have and so I laughed - OMG not like me to do that ------ sooooo funny!!! Defo one to try and forget! Audience in general really enjoyed the concert so that was good. Wore my black spotty dress that I thought was a bit young for me but everyone assured me it just looked fab which was nice!
My Dad is dropping in tomorrow so gonna head out for lunch with him and Ben which should be nice. PV day so will go somewhere I can gets nice big steak!!! Fingers crossed for WI tomorrow - for some reason I can't gauge how I have done these days but have to remember that I have lost 5 lbs over the last two weeks so a STS would not be unusual so we will see!

PS - my friends are all doing great on Dukan, one has lost two stone and the others a stone apiece which is great - Dukan really is the bees knees!

I STS this morning which has made me feel a bit sorry for myself!!! Only had one PV day this week due to being away showing and cos I stuck rigidly to the plan I hoped that I would have at least a pound down this week!!!! OHHHHH WELLL !!!! It is not the end of the world so I need to get over it!!! Annoying tho!!!!!! Looks like conso is gonna be a while away at this rate!!!! SOOOOoO near yet so far!!! LOL!

will give you a laff... boyo has covered the mare 3 days on the trot.. 1st day he managed to get on the right way at 2nd attempt.... 2nd day he was every way but the right way....lol then we kept them out so he was learning that he didnt get a jump everytime lol that was a work in progress and he ended up banging his face on a wall when she walked away from him.... yesterday he came out got on 2nd attempt then afterwards he smiled for about 5 minutes then promptly put his head down to eat grass haha hes absolutly hilarious but i think hes getting it :D
 
Hilarious - they are soooo funny - our two boys know the job but just as funny when you get a new mare!!!!! OHHHHDEAR!!
 
thankfully she knows her job and has been great for teaching him..... we are hoping that today shes gone off so she can give him a bit of a crack so he knows that not every mare is willing. gavin has also been great handling him and makes him walk out calmly up to her and be nice to her. the next mare is maiden so he will have his work cut out
