Week 7 day 6

Well an early weigh in and I have lost 1½lb!!!
What is it with me an that loss....why cant it be 3lb or 4lb or even 2lb for goodness sake!!! Still at least its coming off!! Oh and that me at the 2 stone mark too!!! yay me!!!:D. I feel so much better for it too, I have to say!!

Anyway, lesson learnt today, and anyone who thinks this diet is expensive should try shopping!!! As previously mentioned, I am having an aam week and went shopping to get all of the 'allowed' foods for the week....Just over £100!!!:eek:
I would much rather pay out that for a MONTH supply of Exante at least that is helping me lose weight!!!
Anyway, at least I have planned my meals and snacks and only bought things I can eat. Hopefully this should keep me on the straight and narrow!!...xxx

Well first day of aam. Had a chicken salad and I am stuffed. I feel like I have put on all the weight I had lost already!!!

Funny thing is too, I put a plate out like I normally would, but started feeling really full after about half of it!! I really really need to re-adjust my brain regarding portion control. There in lies part of my problem....I would normally put out a huge portion, then regardless of when I was feeling full, carry on and clear the plate. I need to now put out smaller portions and stop when I am satisfied. This will be my challenge for the week....and will be totally venturing into unknown territory!!!

Hope my talking about food dont put anyone off their TS....keep strong everyone, it definitely is the way forward!!!...xx

Do you know what....I hate to admit this, but I think I am scared to!! I know that sounds horrendously stupid, but I have thought about this before and I have looked at the plate and thought no, I cant its just too small!! Think is I have a medium sized plate that I use for my son and I havent even been able to bring myself to use that!!! What is wrong with me!!

I think it is about thinking I will not be full and go back for more so might as well just put it all one plate in the first place. Silly thing is, it would make more sense to use a smaller plate and go back for more if I wanted it rather than feel the need to clear a large plate.

Well thats it...decision made....my sons plate is now MY plate, and any meals I eat this week will be on that one!!! There I have said it now and it will be done!!!

At the begining of the week when I AAM, I used the smallest dinner plate at work, and was still leaving stuff on my plate, because I was full !!

2 stone off in 7 weeks ?

Yeah 2 stone in 7 weeks is absolutely marvellous. I am expecting a gain next weigh in though unfortunately, but I just hope it isnt too horrendous:(

Its strange how the fat person in us takes longer to go away than the fat itself!! If only our brains would catch up a bit faster and think ooo thats too much, just give me half that amount please!! Unfortunately in my case it is still saying...go for it, eat everything while you can!!! Luckily for me my stomach is the one saying, your going to have to stop now or im gonna burst!!! :rolleyes:

Sounds like you are doing amazing work babe! I've just done an AAM week so will await the damage figure tomorrow....sadly don;t get the fullness feeling tho!

Really? I have just had chicken in a chilli and tomate sauce and roasted vegetables and my tummy hurts. I even used my smaller plate too. Felt fine eating it now half an hour later, i think I ate too much!!

I have that Paul McKenna CD... one of the things tha he says on it, is to leave a bit of food on your plate, at each meal... no matter how small, even if it is just a bean, or a pea.... leave it.
This helps reprogramme the mind NOT to eat everything thats put in front of you, or everything on the plate.
Dont know if it works ... but he called it something like secrets of thin people.
Hmmmm... maybe I shoul listen to that again :rolleyes::eek:

Well today I have has homemade lasagne. I used spinach leaves though instead of pasta sheets....not bad! I didnt even miss the pasta too much either!!

So I have managed to stick to low carb high protein which I am really pleased about. No crisps biscuits or cakes, an to be honest not even a craving for them either.

I do have to say though that as mad as it sounds, I am fairly fed up of eating now and am counting the days until I can get back onto Exante. It has been nice being able to eat meals again, but I definitely think aam weekends would be better for me than a whole week on it, something I will bear in mind for future reference. I was actuall thinking about doing a couple of days back on Exante then another couple off but I dont want it to totally mess up my metabolism or anything so I decided against doing that. I will be pleased on Saturday though when I can get 'back to normal!' xx
 
Wow you sound like your doing so well! And the lasagne sounds yummo!! I know what you mean about wanting to go back, I had one working source day and couldn't wait to go back to shakes the next day lol which is weird when at other times I want food so much! Xx
