Wow what a week!!

I have been sooo busy with work this week it has been unreal.

On the plus side I drank lots of water, but bad side is I think I have retained loads as I was so busy that I never went to the toilet all day!!

Yesterday was a total nightmare.....I got stranded in Newcastle because of those horrendous floods!! I left work at 5 o'clock for what should have been a 30 minute journey home and I got home at midnight!!! 7 bloody hours!!! The roads were gridlocked and every way I tried to get home was blocked by rivers of water with cars floating in them!! I hope I never have another day like that in a hurry!!

So been so busy that I have actually forgotten to have a couple of packs this week too. Not good for me I know. Today I went to get my bag as I was leaving work and noticed my lunchtime tetra pack still there!!

So I dont think I will have lost much weight this week as I think I have retained water and not having all my packs will have sent my body into panic mode I think!! I was really hoping for 4lb and to get into the 14's this week too!!

Long lie in required tomorrow!!!
 
I am totally buzzing and over the moon!!!

Week 3 of operation Egypt and I have lost 6lb!!! :D

I am sooo chuffed it is unbelievable!
I honestly thought I would hardly have lost anything as I have drank loads of water but havent wee'd much so thought I was retaining and I have been so busy that I havent had all of my packs which I know is not a good thing, so wasnt expecting much.

6lb though on week 3....wow.

Oh and just as an added bonus....That now takes me into the 14's...yay!!!!

So in 3 weeks, I have been in the 16's, 15's and now 14's!! I love this diet!!!

Bring on week 4.....

You must be that's a crazy loss :)

I know!! I wasnt expecting much, with the week I have had and it being week 3.....still I will take 6lb thank you very much.
Hope next week is just as good.

How are things going for you hun? I lose track of your diary with it being in the other section :eek:

Well nearly at the end of week 4 and still been 100%....cant quite believe it!!!

I have struggled a bit more this week for some reason. On Thursday I coud just have ate something and I keep getting little thoughts of 'well just have that and then get straight back on it'. The thing is, from past experience, I know I never manage to get back on it and struggle even more until I completely fall off and end up back to square 1.

I think I am just missing food again though as opposed to having 'cravings' which are way worse.

Still, I remember on day 4 of this when I was struggling, I remember thinking I am only on day 4 and I have 4 months to do. Now I am on week 4 and have 3 months left so I can get through these times, I just need to stay strong.

So weigh in day tomorrow. Not expecting much due to the unexpected big loss last week but I still hope I lose a couple of pounds at least to keep me motivated!! xxx
 
Belated well done on your week 3 loss, that's excellent! I know hat you mean about missing food, that's where my head has been for the past couple of weeks but I've had to have a word with myself and get back on 100%! Best of luck with week 4 WI! :)

It is so hard to get back on it isnt it so I am just trying really hard not to fall off.

Its all psycological really, your head playing mind games with you. If that didnt happen I rekon I could sail through this diet!! haha:rolleyes:
 
GUTTED!!!!:cry:

I have somehow managed a +0.75 gain!
I promise I have not cheated once in the whole 4 weeks I have been on this diet.
I think the reason for this could be 1 of 3 things or perhaps even all 3.....
1) I think it is totm (dont get periods as on depo injection) as been feeling hungry, sore tummy and bloated
2) I definitely didnt drink enough water this week
3) I think I lost too much last week and my body is compensating

So I guess I know the reasons for this but I still feel really disappointed.

So now confession time.....I have now had chicken and salad!
I am sorry but I couldnt help it. That will be all I have and I will be back to 100% tomorrow but today is a diet fail!! :(

Was that or carb overload, eldest son brought home crusty tiger bread :cry::mad: it smelled soooooo bloody good!

So I think we both made an excellent choice! :clap:

4 weeks at 100% is fab, and no way a fail !
An itsy bitsy gain is nowt chick :), and you are right that it could be a combination of all 3 things.
Keep going this week :D

I felt more of a failure for gaining than i did for eating!! lol xxx

My son actually took the crisps up to his room and hid them from me as he knows I would have been at them and totally fallen off the wagon!! lol

Ooo tiger bread...yummy!!!

I know 20lb in 4 weeks is bloody good going....I need to focus on the positive!! xx
