Thank you! It may be slow but it is in the right direction!
Have had a bit of a set back this week in that I returned to work a couple of weeks ago following 4 months off with a back injury. Unfortunately it has worsened and I'm off work again. I saw another GP who has finally referred me to a musculoskeletal specialist and has also changed my pain killers, which are making me both very constipated and drowsy, so much so I can't drive and can't get out for a walk as I'm unsteady on my feet. This should be temporary while I get used to them... At least it is letting me catch up with lost sleep!
If I can lose while unable to leave the house then I'll be delighted! Not being able to pop to the local shop will certainly curb the syns!
It's tough when life gets in the way almost feels like your hitting a wall but try to remember nothing is forever were only given what we can handle, if you want to reach a goal weight then you most deffinately will succeed

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy - just hang on until those meds level out. Hope the referral will result in something good for you, and just try not to worry TOO much about losing while you adjust. I know that's easier said than done but this is about the journey, not the destination.
Sorry to hear your back has got worse and the meds are making you feel icky Hopefully they'll settle down and you'll feel a little better.
My OH has been none mobile the whole time we've been on SW and he's lost 4.5 stone, when you've adjusted to not moving as much it should still come off, maybe not as fast but anything off is better than putting it on.
I hope you start to feel better soon.
Weigh in today. 1lb on. Not surprised as haven't stuck to plan at all due to very little appetite and a fair bit of nausea.
My mum turned up with chips last night which I ate- I didn't realise how hungry I was! In fact that was part of the nausea- I needed to eat.
I'm constantly dizzy so standing at the cooker to cook a meal isn't possible right now.
Hoping things settle down very soon
(And don't get me started on the lack of toilet activity!)
Oh it doesn't sound like ur having much fun right now I think u deserved them chips after the week your having, just concentrate on your health that's more important u have plenty of time to catch up

I wouldn't worry about a small gain or what you eat, if you're nauseous and haven't been eating properly just what you can when you can you can always catch when you're feeling better. I hope it settles down for you soon and you feel better.
Sorry you're feeling cr@p still Don't worry bout the gain, it's not a large one and you need to concentrate on getting yourself better. I hope you have a better week this week x
Feeling so much more positive this week... Long may it continue!
My mum brought my nephews round today. They are 6 and 8 and a total joy. They were doing impressions of the characters from star wars- I feel my work with them is done
Food yesterday:
Breakfast- scrambled eggs and fruit
Lunch- subway turkey salad with cheese (hexa)
Dinner- Aldi chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese (2 syns), baked potato, salad
Tried to make SW cake using ryvita but it was awful so after one mouthful it was thrown away!
Snacks- yogurt
