Hi everyone!

I'm new to this so not 100% sure if i'm writing in the right part haha.

I previously did Dukan at the start of this year and lost 7lb, but i didnt have a lot of will power and ended up falling off the wagon.

I am now ready to smash my weight loss and get to a healthy (and sexy!:p) weight. (plus i have a holiday in 6 weeks that i want to look good for!)

Hoping i can meet a lot of dukan friends to help me along the way and i will return the favour :D

i have been following all of the threads and have been getting an in sight of what peoples typical diaries are which has really helped

i re started dukan yesterday (28th August) and i am on day 2 of attack.

hope to hear from all of you and i will post my days food soon :)

Good luck with the diet, and it's great that you've got your holiday to keep you motivated! Where are you off to?

I can't see how many posts you've written as I'm on my phone, but you need 20 posts before you're allowed to put up a pic.

Tuesday 28th August

Breakfast
Oatbran Porridge

Snack
5 Crab Sticks (i've seen a lot of different thoughts on these? please advise)

Lunch
2 chicken drumsticks and 1 chicken thigh (grilled)

Snack
1 vanilla yoghurt
fridgeraiders (are these bad?)

Dinner
1 piece of steak


Wednesday 29th August

Breakfast
Oatbran Porridge

Snack
5 crab sticks

Lunch
1 tin of tuna, mixed in 1 tablespoon of extra light mayo (any suggestions on how to make this dukan friendly?)

snack
toffee yoghurt
fridgeraiders

Dinner
1 piece of steak
2 scrambelled eggs


Help and advice very much appreciated!!!

The light mayo is a definate no no, try some seasoned yogurt/dairy. I dont eat Tuna so cant really comment

Seafood sticks are limited to 8 a day but if your weightloss starts to stall i would cut them out completely

Re fridgeraiders, I eat them, theyre not strictly allowed because of forbidden ingredients and I think they're really salty, try not to eat them every day. Get some chicken breast, cook it up and season it yourself.
 
If you have the book the Dukan mayo is great I add garlic too very tasty, and try to up your protein, drop them fridge raiders like a got brick, to much added salt x

i will try and find an alternative to mayo.

ive cooked some chicken tonight to take to work tomorrow, experimenting with different seasonings at the mo, using tubs of spices, ready made packs etc. i find some can be overpowering and ruin the chicken!

can you recommend any seasons/spices to add to chicken?

I have the Dukan book but it isnt the receipe one :(

any chance you can share your mayo receipe with me... :)

i heard the fridge raiders get a slap on the wrist! ill drop these after the last 2 packs ive got in the fridge :D

What do u mean when u say ready made packs? Not things like Maggi seasoning??

Ive got a stash of herbs and spices, I just throw it all on and hope for the best lol
 
I'm not very inventive but I like paprika, chillies flakes and plain black pepper but some of the girls on hear are fab cooks and will give you loads of ideas x
 
There are recipes in the Dukan book, u dont need the recipe one
 
ermmm like Scwartz jars like bbq seasoning/ cajun / piri pir - i have a few of those maggies bags too, are these okay?

Maggi bags are a no, they contain wheat and too much salt.

Just check out the ingredients of the others you mentioned, Ive never used anything other than jarred herbs and spices
 
Dukan mayo
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
3 Tbsp of natural yoghurt,
Clove of garlic
Mix together, that's it.
Once in cruise there's a sweet chilli sauce

,Yeast Extract ,Yellow Mustard Seed ,Oregano ,Sage ,Thyme ,Sunflower Oil
,Flavouring ,Anti-Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide)

Hi Tamara :) thanks for that, im just trying to experiment at the mo!

Tried to make a muffin/cake the other day and it turned into a big pancake!! Went straight in the bin!!

If anyone has any tips and receipes for muffins and bread i would highly appreciate these! Xxx
