thanks chick, was so hungry last night but one bath and an early night later made it through. was at a course today with some of the guys from work with, it had to be a sit down lunch but stayed strong not even the most delish looking sticky toffee could sway me from my cranberry bar:), its easier once you ve got into ketosis. hows it going for you? still got the determined head on? when is your official weigh in looking forward to that big drop x

Work things and social things can he hard so good on you for staying strong :) sometimes a bath and early night can be our saviour.

My official weigh in is on Tue and I can't wait, very determined and can't wait to see what the scales say.

I've had 3 Tetras today as they are so flipping easy but going to mix it up a bit next week and get a few mint choc as I love them Hot and a few soups. Going to resist bars until week 2 ( for my own sanity ) I don't want to chew yet :)
 
was just looking at some of your pic s from before,they re fantastic, that ll keep you well motivated, but you look like a fab/fun person to be around no matter what. i like the tetra too but only a few of the mix shakes (toffee/walnut, vanilla and choc mint) i like the porridge but have to have them for my evening meal and they have to be eaten with a teaspoon. can actually convince myself im full by the end where as if i have a soup im convinced im hungry. blinking weird head i ve got:)
im really looking forward to next week as my counsellor has the lemon bars back in stock and not had one since my holiday oh its the little things. think i should get a pretty good week this week (provided i don t fall) as its 4 weeks since i came off and last week although i ate a few products never got into ketosis. so maybe not a full on first week loss but hopefully more than a couple of pounds. have been good, thought id keep off the scales this week as im a serial weigher and just have the reveal on mon. oh it ll be a well pee ed off face if its not good:)

I sometimes look at my pics and wonder if it was really me lol,
I didn't feel slim even when I was as the mind takes a lot longer to catch up than the body lol.

Your doing fab so I bet your loss will be a good one !

last night i had a wardrobe reshuffle, the small clothes box has made it back on the hangers and a few larger pieces are now tucked away in the big clothes box:) a T/W shake down and im ready for action

It's great to be able able to get back into clothes and a great motivation to have them there waiting for us to slim into.
I'm having a fab day so far and feel much more energetic x

it so is, my size 30 diesel jeans actually fitted today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a few pounds more wouldn t hurt but i could wear them today, felt pretty darn good. still tired here but the same happened when i went into ketosis the first time takes me just over a week to readjust them it s plain sailing. your effort is pretty impressive 5 mile walks and the likes, your super charged lady, much respect. im thinking i ve got another 3 /4 weeks ss then should be able to come up the steps. i need to up my excise soon as although i do a lot of walking i hate hills and in june i ve just agreed to hike the inca trail so need to get into training and think i ll need a spot more of food.
and another day in the bag ( it is ss+ as life without tea/coffee +milk is a no no) so tom the big day for me that ll be that ll be day 6 technically so fingers and toes crossed

The inca trail . . . . Now that's impressive ! ! ! Bit more than my 5 miles :)
 
we ll see, have checked to see if i can hire a lama to be tied to but turns out im going to have to make it up on my own steam:)

well weigh in been and gone and i am 6 pounds lighter, really pleased with myself if im really good next week i might even glimpse the 10s again( won t get ahead of myself but that is a big deal for me) oh think i ll just go and update my statistics :)

am so looking forward to it, its been on the list for about 17years now,although i had always envisioned taking the train up to Machu picchu but my friend really wants to hike. still it ll be good for the maintenance plan. if i remember correctly you ve got a pretty special trip organised. i did the trans Mongolian last year so if your getting off for any stops and and want some tips just let me know. it is utterly fantastic.

we did Beijing ulan bator, ulan ude, Irkutsk,Yekateringburg, nizhny novgorod and moscow. would of liked to take in the part through the Kazan (Cossack region) but train times didn t allow. highlights? id be here all day but Beijing, monoglia s people and landscape,Irkutsk and the lake baikal, history of Yekateringburg and the grandeur of moscow would be some. i ve been to st petersburg before and which ever of the 2 cities you start at its a win win. not done as much of the far east but loved cambodia and thailand. the pair of you will have the most memorable time ever

We plan on starting in St Petersburg :)

Will be asking for more tips the closer we get I am sure.

There have been a lot of people leaving my office recently so the surrounding desks are empty, the nearest other person is three desks away. So basically I am silent all day, no conversation, no banter etc. And then there is the work which is getting a bit tiresome...I clock off in 20 minutes and will be running for the door!
 
ss+ success today and 6km at the gym with hills no less a bit bored this evening but cupboard raiding is not on the agenda

I've been reading this thread for a few weeks now and think it's lovely how supportive you all are of each other :) you are all doing fantastic too, compared to you all I'm a newbie (starting 5th week) I'm going to stick to this Diet and get my happy go lucky confidence back for good :), it's great to read your stories as I know I'm not on my own and you all got through it, so can I

hi there and your very welcome to pull up a chair so to speak. 5 weeks is no mean feat and over a stone loss too you ll be feeling pretty good about that. it really is a good diet for getting your mojo on. the xmas dress shop is something im thoroughly looking forward to.

the forum is great for those days when your doing really well or struggling a bit, im so glad i found it. when is your weigh in day?

I couldn't agree more, the more in the " group " the merrier, we are all here with the same thing in mind. Support on a VLCD is a must and this place is full of support and tips.

You all certainly help me keep on track x
 
Thank you. My weigh in day is a Monday, which keeps me on track at the weekend :)
I don't think anyone understand a VLCD unless you are on one or doing it, so although friends are supportive they don't really understand 100%. X
