Things that made you feel good about yourself today??

Im with you - I fell a couple of years ago on the ice & ended up having a back operation. I'm absolutely neurotic about it now. :ambulance:

Oh! I like this thread. And I have a list lol!

I went shopping in Tesco and had to go to the cafe to feed my son. I ordered a coffee and the 'helpful' server asked if I wanted chips, cake or a cookie. I refused ALL of them :D

I went power walking along the promenade with my son in his pram and managed to pass a much skinnier mum. Yay!

When my OH got in from work he brought me some lovely flowers and told me he was proud of me.

All in all, I've had a lovely day
 
I feel good today because despite not being 100% well I managed to go to the pool and have a good 46 minute swim and feel nice and refreshed for doing it. Was a little worried as I've had a stomach ulcer and didn't want to trigger off any pains xxx

Having the energy to do all my house work at 8am this morn before leaving for work at 9am, love having extra energy!! Amazing what healthy eating can do for you xx
 
I've walked 6 miles through ice and snow in the last 24 hours to get to work - I look after adults with autism and it would be difficult to run short or get cover :) looks like ill be walking for the next few days too judging by the forecast for east anglia!

I have that same fear and I'm 6 months pregnant :( x
 
My oh calls me twinkle toes when I go out walking and it's slippy. I was tempted to get some of those shoe grips but wasn't sure if they are any good.
 
These are the reasons why I feel great about myself today:

1. Last week was my first 100% week in such a long time, and it went perfectly.
2. I lost 4lb at weigh in last night!
3. I had 36 Syns left over for the week so was able to have chip shop chips and actually Syn them, rather than doing the whole "weigh day black hole" thing.
4. Today is the start of a new week and, so far, it's going great. I'm going to make it another 100% week!
 
I just signed up to do a sewing and dressmaking course. Maybe I'll be able to start altering some of my clothes when they get too big!! :D

I'm actually doing it at the local high school. They offer loads of courses and they don't cost a fortune which is good. Funny you should mention corset making becuase the lady that takes the class specialises in that. I'm really looking forward to starting it, then I can stop pestering my mum to do all my alterations for me!

That is so amazing!! Im looking forward to the day i can list a good few things that make me feel good in a day!! Xx
 
One of my work colleagues said "you're the only one who doesn't look like they put on any weight over christmas". Good for me - not so much for the other 6!!
 
Have tried to think of something to put down for today but can't :( Maybe we need a thread for the bad days lol
