Think Slinky!! CurvyKaren's Diary

Gonna give them a try!! I have swapped my aplen light bars now on your advice. I was getting a bit bored of the summer fruits one, so I have bought the chocolate and fudge one. There are hardly massive lumps of fudge in it - but I like them and they make a change. Thanks Hun x

The white chocolate options is lovely mixed with 0% greek yoghurt, and mixed with meringue and fruit to make a delicious eton mess.

Yeah - the summer fruits one is nice but it's all about changing them up. Have you tried the Weetabix Oatys for a change too? Although it's one for HEXB

the choc cherry one is my fav, not tried choc banoffe yet xx
hope your having a good week xx

I'm having a decent week - quietly confident for a decent loss on Tuesday (I know we have a little while to wait! Haha)

The brownie one is my absolute favorite. Honestly to me they're better than the mcdonalds hot chocolate I used to love ages ago.

I've been reading your diary about having to go to where you work and keeping up everytime I try and get a minute to gab I have to do something else!

Hey!!

I used to use my milk allowence to make opitions more chocolatey. But today as I couldn't be bothered to warm milk up I added water to a cadburys light hot chocolate and for once it was gorgeous lol. 2syns.

Do you struggle to stay on track?

How do you keep motivated?

Been Reading your diary (like a stalker lol) for a little over a week :)

Alot of people have said to me years ago "oooo put milk in it and you'll love it" (when they've offered me chocolate water as I saw it) but I think I'd have to basically have it all milk!

I'll answer your two questions honestly.

Do I struggle? No. That's even shocking for me to say myself but I 100% don't struggle to stay to 10 syns (generally 5) EVERY day. I never need to go over that at all. I don't have a definite answer for you as to why I don't struggle either. I suppose it's because the only way I'd struggle is if I wanted the synned food. The truth is I've had so much of it to get me to 19st 4 that I could shut my eyes and almost taste it - it's that familiar. Dont get me wrong this is the first time I've ever been slimming and not bothered about eating the bad stuff - that's why I failed in the past. The only thing I struggle with is wanting to lose alot of weight per week - EVERY week but my goals keep me going.

How do I keep motivated? I'm so determined now to be the person I always felt I was on the inside, but on the outside. I thrive off feeling slimmer, feed off everyone's encouragement and knowing that I've already changed alot with my one stone 8.5lbs off.

I am focused on seeing the in laws and rest of his family at christmas. I picture walking in in a new outfit and all of hubby's aunties and uncles in shock and me feeling amazing. I also picture seeing people from the call centre who saw fat me for all those years and gasping - they'll probably go back and tell the others that since I left I've lost a tonne of weight.

No food is as tasty as a slinky figure will feel :)

Thank you! :D 3lb is ace! I was not expecting 3.5lb - I am a scale hopper and it was looking like it would only be a 1lb so I was ecstatic!

Let's keep it up and shed our way to slinky! x

Hey Jackie :)

It's a brilliant idea for a change! The chocolate orange or mint one would be gorgeous too!

I am good - still going for it in Operation Slinky! How are you managing?

It sounds like your in the right place now to lose your weight. I want to lose weight but don't actually think i'll look right thin or am happpy with myself now which I think is what makes it harder for me.

I also hate weighing weekly, I think it makes me revolve around Mondays and isn't healthy.

How are you today? Is it you who multiquotes all the posts and replies or have I been stalking another diary lol

You can stalk away all you like :D I only multi quote when I'm on my netbook. I'm guessing the iPhone app is the same as on the iPod and you can't do it on there.

Its weird to think "I'm in the right place" I wish I could tell the people that are struggling how I got here. Although I hate it when I don't see many lbs lost, I know in my heart that every lb is worth all of this and closer to where I want to be.

I can't really imagine myself below 12 stone but then when I was there I was fairly happy with my body and I wasn't doing SW so I'm sure eating properly will bring me below 12 stone.

It's brilliant that you're happy the way you are. I can imagine you being happy gives you less motivation as opposed to if you weren't.

As I say - you stalk anytime! x

I think i've just been around the 15st point for too long. I've very low will power and most things I have to push myself to do. The only thing i'm passionate about is not buying products that test on animals, i'm surprised i've lasted this long (near 2 years)... I don't even buy from uniever due to their bad rep and that cuts a lot of food out, from ben and jerry's to knorr stock cubes and so on.

But you know, last nights claire richsons last episode and your post gave me a motivation boost for the plan I just need to work out how to stop living around Mondays... Xxx

Awww - exactly! Although you're happy with the way you look, etc. There must be some part of you that wants to lose weight for whatever reason.

Use that same passion you have for products that aren't tested on animals, for weight loss.

You know it will take a little extra effort but it will be worth it. Its one of the only things in your life that your truly in control of :D

Very true.

It's extra hard this week because it's my *week and I've felt terrible since around Wednesday. Tired, headachey and no appitite yet I still get really hungry :(Don't know how i'd hold a job down right now) lol!

Had porridge for the first time in ages this morning, yummy, cinnamon added to make it seem like slushy apple pie, I sometimes add currents but we didn't have any in. It's a Weight Watchers recipe from when i did it with them, obviously changing the quanties for my Hex B, it's not actually that difference, I think they allow 30g's.

Better yet, I can't even exercise due to my low energy levels. I get tired and dizzy just cleaning. Having two days off plan this week and not being able to do more than 3 days exercise is going to really hit me hard I think... xxxxxxx

Awww - do you know why you're feeling like that? Could it be the lack of appetite/food that's giving you the headaches? I know it does that to me!

Sometimes exercise boosts your energy if you tried eating a little and exercising lightly maybe? Just a thought anyway.

I have never been "off plan" since the day I started. I have been to Weatherspoons a few times and have a meal that's 10 syns or less but other than that I have stuck completely to it.

I did just say to hubby that when I get to two stone I'm going to our favourite pub/restaurant and having what i used to have - chicken in creamy mushroom sauce with cheese and bacon with mushrooms and chips. I love it. The place also does giant slices of cake in every flavour that's made fresh.

Two stone will be a MASSIVE achievement for me so I plan to celebrate it with that meal. It will be the highest treat for me that as sad as it sounds, I will treasure. I will then continue on 100% as I have been doing until the next two stone. I have no intention of trying to remotely syn it and will be back to my 5 syns a day straight after.

It will be heaven! x

Shouldn't be too long Mandy! I go on holiday on the 10th October so I was kinda hoping i might do it within the next two weigh ins but know my luck it will be the week I'm away (I'm staying 100% to plan in Cyprus!)

Anyway - the place I love is Evenwood Farm in Runcorn! It's gorgeous.

You can lump them all together all you want - I'm scouse so I take the (you know what) all the time. Widnes is a funny little town! I'm used to be the big city.

I don't speak too scouse though - people don't know I'm from there although I lived there all my life until I met hubby

x

oh, i know where evenwood farm is, never been but have often said we should. its in the same chain as the one by costco in haydock isn't it.
The rivelry at work started when they amalgamated the 2 hospitals its all very light hearted.

love it when the girls from liverpool refer to going to the city center as going to town.
