Threadstoppers United. For the new, nearly new...or even the old members :)

Night, night Jennie - sleep tight & catch up with you soon.

I think I've got some of the bum glue here too Dizzy, some days I get nothing done & realise I've spent most of it on Minimins. I do tell DH it's research for my counselling though (not sure how the arcade fits into that:p )

Right, quick catch up on the threads then bed's calling.

lmao ......lol....I tell my hubby Im researching for my ou course .......lol

Anyway.......good morning everyone.......another day ........Im feeling good, Lucky is back in ketosis this morning so she is feeling good too.
So what have you all got planned for today ?
I have 1 little one coming shortly, another just before lunch time, and the baby after lunch.

Mornin' Sonkie & all you other lovely threadstoppers

Quiet morning, will go out & walk the dog shortly. got my DD home today, it's a teacher/parent interview day today, so the kids stay home & go in with their parents to meet their form teacher & we're going in at 1:30. She's a good girl though and is getting on well, so no problems.

Other than that, got one client just before lunch and one this afternoon & that's me for the day. I might, possibly, maybe spend a small amount of time on Minimins - perhaps ;)

I'm here!

Pretending not to be

Packing up my ebay parcel and listening to pop master on radio 2.

    Trying to kid myself I'm not wasting my precious time today.

Not working though is it. Another cuppa and I'll go to the market.

Dizzy x

You just gonna be browsing or have you got a list of bits to get........I have not been to market for ages ....is it indoor or outdoors

I live in a cute little old country market town. We have a market once a week. It's lovely, fresh fish, fruit and veg, bakers (who always gives me extra cakes for the boys!) Cards, watch repairer, plants, pet food, lots more. it's really good actually. I avoid it sometimes because of the free cakes. Also I walk and have had bad arms so haven't been able to carry the bags.

Will definitely go this morning, need fish, fruit and veg if any catch my eye, cheap watch for DS1, also need to pop into beautician make an appointment to get my eye brows waxed and to Bank put money in and PO to post parcels.

An old fashioned little shopping trip. I quite miss having my little one with me though!:( Especially when he was little enough to take the buggy as it was great for carrying all the shopping.

Dizzy x:)

Awwww it sounds lovely........! Its nice to walk in this weather......I dont mind walking as long as its not too hot or raining.
Think I will take the little ones for a walk before I drop one off to nursery !

I probably better run this morning rather than walk as I'm running super late. All the fish will be gone!

So describe these slippers to us all....!

OMG I can't believe I making such a big deal about a pair of slippers!

They are Scholl Bright orange felt clog style. Similar to the felt birkenstock clogs. Have you seen them?

Maybe I'll ask Mizzy to take a photo later and put it on! How embarassing am I?

Ooh I love clogs, so comfy, I've got some lovely ones from Clarks that I live in. Do post a picture so we can share :)

Had a good day today, two very happy clients, both had great weight losses, week 3 & week 2 respectively, the first lady was so thrilled and gave me the biggest hug - honestly I love this job.

Went to my DD's school today to meet her Form Tutor and discuss her assessments, she's doing really well, better than I thought she was & is in the top section right across the subjects - I was so pleased with her, she's working really hard & it shows. She only started secondary school in September but she's maturing so much, the only problem she has is her own self-belief and confidence in her abilities, but that has been helped today by the praise heaped on her by her tutor. So I took her into town afterwards and we went to Costa for coffee & a c*ke (I won't say the "c" word  ) and yes I'm afraid I did indulge - oops, and bought her a couple of treats as well, I was a very proud mum. We then went into Wallis where she tried to talk me into a very funky, patterned dress, the type you wear over jeans, it was very nice, but I wasn't sure it was me, and felt it was a bit young and in the end I resisted - it was £30 which I felt was too much for something I wasn't sure about, but promised her I'd think about it.

So a good day in all. Have a nice evening everyone :)

Green with envy at your girly day out with daughter all of it coffe and cake in Costa and clothes shopping. :sigh: :sigh: :sigh: :sigh: :sigh:

I guess if I have girly shopping trips on my own I get to spend all of Mizzy's money just on meeeee!

Glad you are a proud mum today and had a lovely day. I would love to be a CDC and am planning to at some time but feel like I need to completely end my weightloss journey and know I can maintain before I do it. It would be perfect for me and am looking forward to it. I go to talk to someone about volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau but I must get a job that pays money. Poor Mizzy out at work all day to support the five of us I'd like to help him out a bit. Looking at an evening job at the airport or even at the local tesco until I try the CDC thing. It would be great to be helping others first hand with the Cambridge diet. Rather than the odd motivating comment on Minis although I certainly enjoy doing that too.

Mizzy's not home yet will ask him about a picture of my slippers later. i'm a clogs girl too I have lots of pairs and birkenstocks. I live in them! In fact I went into the shoe shop to look for a pair of normal shoes.

Speak to you later.

sounds like you had a lovely day MD :D I love spending time with my girls - not quite got the shopping thing sussed yet.. usually is always just stuff for them ..lol but that's ok :D

Dizzy - great to have work goals to aim for! I thought about the future and being a CDC but when discussing it at the weekend someone said they didn't think I would be suited for it.. LMAO.. hmm.. methinks perhaps I am a tad too direct for some! lololololol xx

I waited until I'd maintained for about 6 months, plus at that times a few things changed in my life and it just slotted into place really. but I was glad that I'd had that 6 months of maintenance, felt it gave me more experience of the diet plus I could show that the diet not only worked for me but that I'd managed to keep the weight off.

I really am so glad I've decided to do it, I hesitate to call it a job, or work, as it's the nicest job I've ever had! :)
