Luckily the girl I am join with has travel agent access to the systems and she is feeling pretty confident so I trust her!! The tension though!! It's killing me!!
Just found this photo in India last year (you prob saw it on my blog) total motivation in itself - I was probably heavier than these 2 girls put together!!

Was thinking about it earlier and I have 2 more for the benefits of getting thinner....
- standard sizing - it's no longer touch and go if XXL will fit, I just bought a belt labelled s/m - didn't think it would fit, my other half insisted I try it and he was right! Extra bonus being I didn't spend the rest of my day constantly pulling my jeans up!!
- rings! Now I know this doesn't affect as many overweight people, but I have never been able to just buy a ring, cheapie costume or silver rings off the shelf I mean. But now, oh yes, I can now get a lg over these sausages!! Very happy about this, I have literally never been able to do this!

Yea I seen the pic there's defo a huge different from ur formal pictures on the ships.
What a lovely achievement! I know what u mean about the ring situation. My wedding ring and engagement ring no longer fit! So I'm wearing a ring of my mums which is now slowly but surely becoming very loose.
Don't want to have the rings adjusted because I've still quite a bit to go and I don't want to damage the ring.
The s/m belt too I'm sure ur so chuffed! How was mum today? Or did you not go home with rana?

Well, the thing I neglect to mention is that I have never actually (physically) met the girl I'm going with! I trust he never the less lol. It'll be fine! It's gonna be such an adventure!
Very chuffed with the belt thing! I can't wait to one day actually be able to pick up an 'S', that would be mental!!
It was ok actually! My parents were out when we got back, but when we got back we just did our stuff and they did theirs! We weren't there that long (maybe 2hrs?) Rana had some stuff he wanted to do on the computer, I gave him some lunch and then we headed Into town. Mum was fine, I think perhaps she might worry just as much as I do. The only dodgy bit was Rana telling my mum he wants to get a job in India at the end of the year and not come back to the ships - she asked what about me?! Well... I'm not happy about the whole thing either, but if he doesn't find the right job he will come back, so i know its bad but I am just hoping he doesn't! No point stressing about something that might not happen!
Anyway I digress! That naughty man shoved a bit of chicken curry wrapped in Chapatti in my mouth, I was powerless to resist - if I didn't accept in my mouth right then it would have landed on my top! I told him off after and he was like "oh one bite won't kill you" and this guy is usually like the diet Gestapo! I did enjoy my bite, though it did ruin what could have been a 100%SS day! He makes me laugh though, whilst we were out I started munching on a bar and he almost flipped at me "IS THAT CHOCOLATE??" Haha, no honey, this is my lunch! He's very proud, and it's nice I have a boyfriend who is not a diet saboteur like the last 2! 4 more KG and I will weigh less than him, Can't wait for that!!
So. Shopping day today, saw a top in primark abandoned yesterday but didn't have the patience to locate its friends, so my plan is to find that today! I will be trying both 12s and 10s since I don't want to be buying stuff now which is too baggy by my holiday so if a 10 squeezes on I will buy for future wear! Might need a new casual blazer, pretty annoyed that I bought a 14 a couple of months ago as it doesn't look fitted any more, might just bite the bullet and get another if they have it and hope this time it will fit long term! This diet is causing me to haemorrhage money on clothes, but at the same time I can't stop since now my body is getting better I want I dress it better! #shopoholic me thinks! Ha, we'll it could be worse than primark - just imagine if I were shopping like this in monsoon!

Lol 1 min he's telling ya u need to loose weight and the next he's like oh well ur not that fat have a biscuit lol a character to say the least!!
It's great that rana supports you there's nothing worse than feeling like you are inconveniencing someone because ur on a diet even though we shouldn't have to apologise for making good life choices. It's funny how we think like that.
Especially when so much of our lives revolve around food. Even if its jus coffee and a treat with a friend or going out for dinner. It's not easy!
I know it's a pain buying new clothes on this diet but isn't it better its for smaller as opposed to bigger?
Just get yourself the blazer you've worked hard to get to where you are!
I hope your day of shopping is a peaceful one Lol and hopefully you locate the abandoned tops friends!

Disastrous shopping trip!! found the top - sods bloody law they only had it in a 14 or a 16!! then they only had the blazer in a 20 or an 8! almost bought the 8 - I went on, just was tight on the arms and there was no chance of it ever meeting in the middle! couldn't decide if i looked fitted and fashionable, or like a size 12/14 trying to wear an 8 lol, so put it back!
Did get 3 tops, one 10 and 2 12s, Only keep trying the 10s to try and prove something to myself, when in reality even when I am a genuine 10 I don't think that all 10 tops will fit my boobs anyway, that's the only reason I bought the other 2 in 12s otherwise I think I could've done it. Also had an impromptu bra fitting (again!) I have the same bra in 3 different sizes now! But from the way things are going I'm pretty sure they won't really deflate much more. I got fitted properly for the first time last June, that was a 36F, then in Feb I was a 34F, then today I was a 32E - and I don't think those babies will ever fit in a fitted 10. Funny though, before I got measured properly I wore a 42C - how wrong was I?! I still don't think they are an E though, there's bugger all there!
Just spent the rest of the afternoon ebaying (gotta fund the shopping somehow!) so shameless plug if anyone wants some size 16/18 clothes.... RIAWANTSTOSELLHERSTUFF | eBay
Today has been an SS+ day, had a thumping headache all day - thought it might be dehydration, but I haven't drunk too much lately so that should't make much difference, had 1l of water and no change, so thought I should have something more to eat. So choc mousse for breakkie, choc mint bar for lunch, a masala omlette (recipe and pic below) and broccoli for um - early dinner? and a choc shake just now. Only to realise I still have a headache and its probably due to the time of month - i still get headaches and belly aches even thought I am on Depo and have no period! and that us uaually right at the beginning of the month - close enough! d'oh!
Masala Omlette (Indian spicy omlette) - ended up more scrambled since the non-stick on my pan isn't up to scratch these days! Martha this may help your curry craving (cant remember if you ss+?) I used a tiny clove of garlic, not on allowed list but not worried, can be omitted ort chnaged for garlic powder i suppose?
Masala Omlette (Indian spicy omlette)
2 Spring onions (sliced)
1 chilli (sliced)
garlic clove (grated or finely chopped)
1/4 tsp turmaric
1tsp ground cumin
1tsp ground coriander
2 eggs
1) fry the spring onion, chilli, garlic and turmaric together until thewy are soft (i added water to try and prevent sticking)
2) add the cumin and coriander and cook another minute
3) add the eggs
now next time I might mix all of the spices into the egg, I know it's best to cook them out a bit first but since we can't use oil it all gets a bit stuck and i worry about burning.
As for measurements weigh the garlic, chilli and salad onions on the scale with whatever veg you serve with is so that you don't go over your 80g.

I haate when that happens! You want something and they have a size bigger and a size smaller but not what you want!
Lucky you with the boobage!! I've dropped from a dd to a c. Very devastating lol although I haven't been properly measured! I probably should get that done lol where do you go?
I'm totally ss Hun starting my 8th week tomorrow! I am rather chuffed with myself! Not so much as a crumb has crossed my lips.
The omelette looks yum tho I have screen shot the recipe for the future!
Getting weighed on weds but not hopeful! the scales hate me at the min and they just don't seem to be moving, the most it's went down since last weigh in was 1.8lb and this is in a fortnight. Drives me mental lol
It wouldn't be so bad if I could feel it in my clothes and while I do it's not anything major and that's 31lbs down from I started bk this 2nd time.
Must be patient!
You did we'll with the diet today. Hope ur headache eases for you.
Il have a nosey at ur eBay stuff even though I'm not quite in the 18s just yet. Still trying to be a comfy 20! A 20 fits but I'd like to be a little more comfy just picking up a 20 and knowing it will fit.

My thighs and my chest litrally never moved until like the last month. At my biggest I was a 36G at my last fitting I was a 32GG but im not convinced im still that big. But I made it into size 8 tops so im confident you can too hun. And I bet you'll find now you'll drop threw the sizes in the blink of an eye!! But In with you on the shopping front. Ive spent a fortune on clothes while going threw the sizes and I had some lovely dresses that I only wore once...sold them on ebay though.
I love how adventurous you are with ss+ meals I just have scrambles eggs and lettuce haha

Yes you should get properly measured - you will probably be surprised!! I go to John Lewis who are great - but that's absolutely no good for you unless you are on your travels one day! Avoid la senza - I had a fitting their years ago and was so traumatized by it - they basically said - "err I think your a [whatever size] but I can't say for sure since we don't do that size and therefore we cant measure up to that size?!! you what!!?? I'd say to head for a decent department store, that way there is a lot of different brands to choose from. My MUM even got fitted after seeing me do it for the umpteenth time this year, and that is a really big thing, I've been on at her for ages to do it!
Headache is all gone thank goodness, just suffering immensely with the cold today, say with 3 tops on and my hood up!!
so yesterday was all good on the diet front - no non-plan food passed my lips! today so far so good - strawberry mousse for breakfast, currently sipping a chicken and mushroom soup - don't really want it (gone off it again) but its warm!!

I popped into tesco to buy some more teas and coffee to try. Coffee is tasting like dirty water recently to me. I can't buy myself food or clothes (although i did make a few sneaky purchases for a bag and dress on ebay yday) so my new thing is tea and coffee lol such excitement in my life I swear everyone wants to be me haha!
Could be doing with some thunder removed from my thighs too lol but I figured with another 8 stone to lose it will go eventually.

Yeah, I forgot about M&S but saying that you'd probably be better off in debs as you will get a better idea of what size you are in diff brands.
Today is fine, been feeling hungry - meaning bored! working at home is a long slow day - at least it makes being back in the office a little more exciting! just having my 3rd shake right now.
I know what you mean on the supermarket front, between here and my draw at work i have no less than 11 types of tea!! Went to asda yesterday and bought a phone cover and pens!!
You have to treat yourself occasionally - is the dress in your size or is it an aspirational size?
I'm currently adding stuff to my saved list on new look, will wait until target to buy though if they're still there. or just before holiday.
The holiday is available at the right price to book now, but my co-traveller is trying to blag something better off of the travel company right now so we are holding off booking for a few days until she hears back - it is literally killing me!! but if she pulls through it could be a major result! and she is someone they want to keep happy!!
Rana's back again saturday, hes just floating around norway for the week. hope he's not expecting another food parcel this week - I might have time for cookies but that's my lot, I can't make him curry EVERY week! Saying that, I'll probably get bored one day and do it anyway - saw an interesting recipe for egg curry i'd like to give a bash!

If it doesn't sit right I've a musical my husbands taking my too in June so it will do for then however I do hope to be at least an 18 by then but because its meant to be a stretchy material it will be okay!

LOVE IT!!! You should be fine since the detailing on the front will be very forgiving, I had one quite similar and it lasted through at least 2 dress sizes too! It looks like a sort of jersey so itll be fine! and wow, you've done so well, you must feel like a different person - I bet you're enjoying being able to buy clothes from supermarkets and regular stores now right? a good feeling! (I LOVE supermarket clothes. almost as much as I love primark, but primark is still top for me!)
I work for Waitrose in their marketing department - but have to travel 65 miles to the office so managed to recently negotiate 1 day at home a week - I don't mind the journey so much it's just the cost of diesel and the wear on my car!
No, price won't go up, but could sell out! availability i ok at the moment, and i trust her since I know she wants to go just as bad as I do, but still killing me!!
Bless him, he actually sent me a message saying he enjoyed it when usually he wont admit it - hes usually licking fingers and smacking lips, doing that whole *mwah* thing then tells me its awful, the bugger! Although that usually changes when I threaten not to cook ever again!
Gonna make him smarties cookies, cant wait to see his face since i doubt he's ever seen them before

Yes forgiving is right! My exact idea when I bought it lol.
I love shopping in tesco and asda lol not really been to primark just yet don't really know why! Maybe because the fitting is not so generous so prob wait until I'm in the 16s to feel happy to go in and get some stuff. Although may get some bits for my holiday there!
While I do feel Diff I don't notice it in myself that much. I think that's everyone tho especially when it's coming off the places you don't want it to (boobs and bum) and staying in the places you do want it to ( tummy arms and legs) but il get there lol
I imagine the travelling can get a bit much at times.
Hopefully it doesn't sell out! She must know what she's doing if she's taking a risk to wait a little longer.
Just made coffee with the almond milk and it seems to almost separate from the coffee lol but if you stir it its alright. Still not convinced but I'm hoping it will grow on me? All down to trial and error I guess. It's 26 kcal for 200mls
May be worth sticking with.

Can't believe a week has passed since we last had this conversation! another 3lbs gone, worried since at this rate I won't hit target on the desired date :-(. week consisted of 3 ss+ days and 4 ss days, though there hasn't been a single day where I haven't put something in my mouth that shouldn't - a spoon of curry here, a bit of my mums slim n save bar there - I'm sure it all adds up!
So this week I am carrying a 1l bottle of water and will make sure I get my minumum water intake every day. I will stop putting things in my mouth that I shouldn't, and will try to keep to SS allowing myself a maximum of 2 SS+ Days if I need them. I want a loss of at least 3.5lbs, preferably 4! It's time to get serious (again!).

When I get to target it will be about 20 weeks on plan total, ok, I will still be moving up steps and buying products, but to get to target alone that will have cost me circa £1000 - woah you may say, That's about £13 a 1b, however it is worth EVERY penny!
Consider this... the NHS website says that privately a gastric band costs £5000-£8000 whilst a gastric bypass is anything from £9500-15000 - What's a £1000 now!
LOL I sound like an info-mercial!!! Time I got cracking on my consultant application form, it's been sat on the side 3 weeks - need to put this energy into something positive!!

LOL I sound like an info-mercial!!! Time I got cracking on my consultant application form, it's been sat on the side 3 weeks - need to put this energy into something positive!!

Had a long day today at Uni so my brain is melted! Popped to primark after classes and there's some nice things but still not quite ready to make any purchases the little vest tops are luvli and for £2 you can't complain.
Diet wise everything going fine and 1 more product left to have.
Weigh in tomorrow so I'm going to stay hopeful

Holiday not booked, playing the waiting game, getting a little impatient now!
I have about 15 of those vest tops lol, I live in them!!! Great on their own, doubled up, under I other tops, as night wear! Buy about 4 every time I go in there!
