Hi Ria (and martha),
My name's Candice. Ria - I've spent the last few hours reading your entire diary. It is so incredibly motivational. I wish I had found it earlier.
I started CWP (with my then bf) in may 2011. I lost nearly a stone then went on holiday. When I got back I yo-yo'd on and off cambridge for years basically - psychologically I was never quite ready. My poor cambridge consultant is a star - she never gave up. The bf and I got married last july and I weighed 13st (a lot for being 5'0"). So back in April I was up at 14st 12lbs and something clicked mentally and did the plan solidly for a month with the hubby. I lost a stone and a bit and was down to 13st 11lbs. Then we went to a formal dinner (had to go) on the 4th of may and it was downhill from there. I am going on holiday in 5 weeks(and seeing family that I haven't seen since my wedding) so am determined to see this through yet again. Anyway so today is day 3 again and I weighed myself to see where I stand and I'm at 14st basically. I had a really hard day and was on the way to mcdonald's when i decided i just didn't want to be a fatty anymore and turned the car around and drove home. I came on the forums and saw one of your posts Ria and saw the link to your diary and started reading it. Best thing ever. I checked my ketostix and i'm in a solid good ketosis. I feel really re-motivated !! so thanks!!!
And so many things that you've said I;m totally like, omg me too! and i loove clothes. ive just never been able to wear what i want. i buy clothes cos they don't make me look too fat instead of ones that i really want to get and im sooo sick of it.
oh and I have a question actually about how you make your mousse -- how much water and mix a mousse do you use and how long do u leave it in the fridge for. Just cos whenever I try to make it it comes out very thick and not that appetizing.
how's the stuff with your consultant application coming on?? i think you'd be a great consultant!!

Hi Candice!
Welcome to the world of my musings, moans and general babble!!
I'm really glad you're in the zone, before I started I was pretty worked up and excited, it really helped keep me focused, so try to stay in that mindset for as long as you can!
mix-a-mousse - tricky stuff, I still can't get it the same every time and I am convinced the results vary depending on what flavour you have too! I actually use the recommended 150ml and 10mins in the fridge, I like it fairly firm since I really hate the times i've ended up with a blancmange sort of substance (bleeuugghh!) but I do however beat it within an inch of it life with the hand mixer and a balloon whisk attachment on full power for at least a minute...maybe thats the trick. But I certainly find strawberry makes a better texture mousse to chocolate for example.
Still not started me forms, I don't know where the weeks have gone :-( seeing my man twice over bank holiday weekend and have 3 job applications to do...so actually that's technically 4, I do need to get cracking! everything feels so hectic, I really hope if i do get on this holiday that I will be able to relax!
Anyway, lovely to meet you Candice! please stick around and keep in touch!
xx
It looks really nice
I have a sw soup book and the lentil in there is amazing!!
Can't wait to try it because I'm on step 2 from the 3rd of June for a week! I plan to try that and the cottage cheese lol oh and ur egg and asparagus idea!!
Good you have meals for the 3 more days especially when u cba cooking!
The weekend will be good for you. Yes a nice lunch with rana sounds good. I've seen a few people eat in nandos ( if you like that) on step 2 most have chicken and salad or Mediterranean salad and that works for them.
Ah I'm ok been revising most of the day! Really tired today don't know why.
So glad to know that this time tomorrow I will be free and have nothing to worry about except gutting the house out and sorting stuff for the holiday and of course getting rid of that stuff I want to eBay.
I ordered a dress yesterday for my sisters birthday 22nd June. I know this look isn't for everyone but I liked it

Also had great news today that the skin care range I looove is now being sold in boots in Belfast. Liz Earle have you tried their stuff?
It's the small things but I'm excited lol
Also found before pics that I had taken waaay at the start before Cambridge and omg! I had no idea I was soo big. Actually annoyed that I was soo unaware!
Xxxx
It's funny you said that, since I was kinda thinking nando's - I'm not the biggest fan bit it's practical, and the spice factor should hopefully keep Rana happy!
soup was so fab! but I am stuffed, I think its one that is much better had for lunch since I hate going to bed on a full stomach, it doesn't seem right!
I'm tired too, not sleeping well, think with everything going on, and the cruise thing stressing me isn't helping. Pulled myself out of bed an hour after my alarm this morning, it's lucky i factor in a buffer!!
Freeeeedddooom! sounds amazing, I just love it when you can have the opportunity to do all the things you usually put off!
I like the dress! do you find youre taste is changing? I did, big style!
yeah I have tried it, it's from the isle of wight isn't it, they sell it in john lewis so tried it once after seeing it on QVC actually (i'm so cool) was nice, loved the smell of the toner.
don't you love looking at old pics though! see, I knew I was big, but was in denial, always thought I wasn't that bad, only now do i see it!
