ProPoints Time to knuckle down, summer is around the corner!

Hi hi, sorry for the radio silence. I had an epic fail of a week food wise. I ended up binging again nearly every day and I couldn't face coming on here. Saturday night was bad and I ended up crying for ages.

Anyway, I've decided this is a fresh week and I'm all ready to go to the gym. I'm going to Zumba tonight instead of thursday as thursday is my birthday and I'm having a buffet in the evening. Then I'm going to Wales for the weekend so I have to really careful points wise.

I understand what you mean about not wanting to post when feeling rubbish.
Thats exactly how I felt on Thursday.

Ooh... Birthday week this week. Buffet sounds good!
A fresh week it is indeed.
But if you are struggling with pp, we've all been talking about filling & healthy.
Maybe that could work for you?!

Where you off to in Wales?

Hey Sweetie and Welcome Back :) We missed you :) Glad to see you're back on track, think Emma is definitely right about F&H as long as you're good at portion control. Are u doing your own Birthday Buffet? X

Hmm not sure about filling and healthy as I'm not good with portion control. Maybe I'll try it once I've lost a decent amount of weight.

Yeah doing my own buffet, just going to get some bits from Iceland. Not really sure that I want much any more. It's going to be hard food wise this week with going to Wales as we'll be out and about and it's difficult finding low point things.

We're going to Neath in south Wales and driving over to Cardiff for the Doctor Who exhibition :)

Sounds like a lovely Weekend :) Don't think I've ever been to Wales?!? Hopefully the weather will stay nice for you.

Some of the Iceland Buffet Bits are quite low in PP so maybe just get those ones, sure everyone else won't mind! X

I hope you enjoy your time in Neath. I'm from Cardiff. The dr. Who thingy is in Cardiff bay. You should have a look around and a wander down to the barrage if the weather is nice. It's a nice walk. Very pretty :).

We're hoping to have a look around Cardiff castle too :) I hope it's not too hot when we're driving as my boyfriend's car doesn't have any air conditioning :(

So, off to WI soon. Had a sneaky weigh in at home and it looks like I'll either STS or put 0.5lbs on. Not bad considering the amount of food I ate yesterday alone.

Today has been brilliant food wise. I've done an absolute ton of exercise including Zumba which I'm off to straight after WI- WW and Zumba are in different parts of my old primary school!

Good luck for WI.
Seems good that it could be a STS or a minimal gain.

You seem much better today.
You do however seem to wane as you get through the week, so you need some kind of motivation throughout the week.

I'll try and think of some sort of mid week pick up for you.
I'm not saying you're gonna slip again this week, I'm just getting in there to help stop you going down.
Prevention is better than cure =)

Well I've just changed into my Zumba gear, and my sports leggings weigh considerably less than the jeans I usually get weighed in, so I think there might be a loss on the scales but only because of that. That would be a shame as it's not a 'true' loss, and the next time I wear my jeans to get weighed in I'll be a lb more!

Oh well, there isn't much I can do about that.

Thanks Emma, I'd like a good pick me up :) I think Thursday will be the temptation as it's my birthday buffet. I might want to give in and eat lots and lots like I did yesterday and that buffet....

How comes you don't go to Zumba after weigh in each week?
If you have a bad WI, it'll de-stress you to get moving.
And then you can WI in your Zumba gear each week.
I weigh in my gym clothes each week and then change into my work clothes after I've weighed.
Everyone's used to me being in them now.
It's what I've worn every week.

And I'll try and get something sorted for wednesday night/thursday morning for you.
Keep you going so you have a good birthday but don't feel guilty about it afterwards and to take you into the weekend in Wales.
I'm very jealous.
Would love to go back there and maybe visit the south this time.
Let me know what it's like =)

Totally agree that WIing in Gym Clothes would be a good idea. I used to WI whatever I happened to be wearing until I discovered my Shorts and Tshirt weighed 13 1/4 ounces once week so now I wear a Black Cotton Dress, I have 2 or 3 but they all probably weigh about the same. X

I don't normally go to Zumba on Monday's as it starts at 7pm which is the same time the talk at WW starts (weighing starts from 6.30pm) so I'd have to miss the talk each week if I went. I go on Thursday's as it's Zumba tone and I can use my sticks :)

I lost 1.5lbs. I said to my leader I expected it was due to me not wearing my jeans, but when I got home and weighed myself in my Zumba gear and then switched to my jeans I was only 0.8lbs heavier. So I must have lost some weight today! I have gone to the gym, done brisk walking and Zumba earning 13 APs.

Today has been really good food wise. I feel so positive about everything right now.

Breakfast- porridge 3pp
Lunch- 4 ryvita crackerbread 2pp, extra light laughing cow 0pp, ham 0pp, kingsmill 50/50 5pp, marmalade 3pp, quavers 2pp
Dinner- WW ravioli 7pp, veg 0pp
Snacks- 1 chocolate digestive 2pp, mini meringue 0pp, strawberries 0pp, onken fat free yogurt 2pp

26/33 points
0/49 weeklies

activity points- 30 mins gym 3pp, 60 mins zumba 5pp, 40 mins brisk walking 4pp, 10 mins slow walking. Total 13pp

Woop woop!
Go you!
Are you back to your silver 7 again yet?

Glad you're feeling positive today.
Jel that you had ravioli for dinner - I had beef lasagne - apparently that's all I've got in my freezer.
Everything else is desserts or chips - apparently I need to go shopping haha.

Do iceland do Online In your area? They aren't covering Kent yet :-( x

I am 1lb away from my silver 7. So close. If i don't muck this week up I will back there next week.

I don't like the ravioli as much as the cottage pie or the lasagne!

Thanks guys. I feel I got away with this by the skin of my teeth...

Apparently not.
Didn't even realise they were doing online.
I have 3 Icelands within 5/10 minute drives of each other.

One is pretty close to the boy's house, so I often nip over there to fill his freezer up.
Except I haven't got any room in his freezer atm, cuz he's filled it up with like 5kg of chicken breast and stuck it in my drawer.
My poor meals got kicked out into the other drawer.
Rude haha.

Thing is, I haven't got any room in my little freezer at home either.
Need to de-ice it and possibly throw away some dessert packaging to save space haha

Ooh... I love the ravioli.
I've never liked lasagne, so avoided the WW one for quite a while.
Then saw it on offer for £1 in Morrisons, and I thought, sod it, lets give it a go, and loved it.
Can't get enough.
Had it for dinner two nights in a row.
But could really do with some sort of tagliatelle/spaghetti bolognese in the freezer cuz I love them as well lol.

And don't feel like that - you've obviously worked hard working it off.
Fair enough about the zumba though.
Was curious.
You could still go to weigh in in your zumba clothes if you wanted to though.

They definitely need to bring out more than 2 Veggie Ready Meals, your choices sound much more extensive!!!x

I find the problem with Iceland is that I can't physically carry all the bags, today was ok as I was just getting a couple of bits in each shop. You definitely need to deice your freezer and then u can play Tetris with all the unpackaged desserts!!!x
