Tipperary wobbles into 2024

I agree @Torn_Tranquility , the colder and darker weather make it un enticing to go out and I'm less inclined to drink water. I weighed again properly and it's not quite as bad as I thought, just a 500g increase. Hopefully a longer fast today will nudge me back on track.
Returning the clothes today, keeping the size 14 pink dress for Xmas eve, the size 12 black and white jumpsuit for the Christmas wedding reception and daughter and husband have convinced me to keep a bright red off the shoulder Bardot style jumpsuit. I wasn't sure, there is nowhere to hide init but they have assured me it looks fab and have promised we will all go somewhere fabulous if I get it. It's a bit long so brought it to get altered yesterday and it was admired while I was been measured.
Write, off to do that physio

Back on track, physio, a walk and a 24 hour fast have me back on track.

Morning, I seem to be back on track and have a small loss this morning. Don't think I will make my target this week but should have an overall loss. Did physio yesterday and went swimming and swam 40 lengths. Stopped to buy another pair of gym leggings a two sweatshirts, weather is getting colder and I was still doing my physio in shorts or pyjamas...too cold for that ( possibly a reason I was avoiding it πŸ˜…). I got a medium in both, I can't ever remember my top being a medium. Everything seems to be getting smaller.... except my love handles and they are getting more obvious are proportionally they are so much bigger now. I've no idea how to target them, any suggestions?.
We are on a weather warning and expecting snow but so far are good and it's not raining. Going to get up soon and if it's still good by 10am will go for a swim, who knows how long the weather will stay clear for.

Well I had peeped out in the dark, it seems we did have a flurry of snow, but nearly gone now. Physio done and getting ready to go to the pool, just having some tea first.. I've to stop n get diesel and go to the credit union but don't need any shopping at all. New units for our wardrobe are arriving tomorrow so I want to take out all my clothes and I'm sure I have lots that now need to be downgraded.

It's weigh in day and I've no idea what news the scales has for me.
Wardrobe units arrived but who knows when they will be put together. I've taken all my clothes out. Lots of underwear has been binned, anything faded, baggy, too big. Lots of t shirts gone to husband to use as polishing clothes. I have some perfectly good pyjamas that are too big and don't know what to do with them, pyjamas aren't exactly the sort of thing you pass on to someone else.

Morning, only a 300g loss this week. But still grateful its a loss. I need to be more focused this week, crackers and wine were sneaking in last week.
Wardrobe assembly has commenced, about halfway done but then leveling and attaching to walls needs to happen. And due to a badly positioned radiator we have had to slightly adjust the plan and as a result I need to get some extra components for it. No plans really for today other than to start with physio and go from there. I imagine meals today are just whatever is in the fridge.
Chat later.

Awwe hunny you have done amazing. Glad you found a playsuit you like...forget about TK max.

Yep I don't know it I could stick to keto will see. Bloods this week.

300g is still a loss sweetheart.

These cold wet nights aren't nice.

Yay for overweight xxxx

Morning, fingers crossed for me today. I've an appointment with my GP to review my meds and I really want to drop the statins. Getting up soon to right a list so I can try to have a coherent conversation rather than forgetting stuff and babbling.
Wardrobes all done and clothes all sorted in them. It's great to be able to clearly see the clothes in one quick glance rather than trying to remember what I have and rooting around for things.
Had a NSV which almost turned out to be a disaster 😲. Was shopping on Tuesday at a retail village, came out of one shop into a second...left it and was taking the receipt out of the bag and realised I was missing my ring. My heart stopped, it had fallen off my finger. Ran back into the second shop to look for it, I know I had it on at the till in the first shop. Anyway, turns out it was in the shopping bag from first shop but I got such a fright. It was my mother's engagement ring setting with a sapphire my husband had bought me years ago. I'm now terrified to wear any ring and checking to see if they can move to bigger fingers.
With the wardrobes and shopping and icy weather I haven't gone swimming this week. Will go after doctors appointment today. The I've some ironing to do and still have husband's jumpers and polo shirts to sort out and find space for. We are moving a dresser from the office to our room for them. He has so many clothes it's unbelievable. I now have 2.5 sections and he has 3.5 sections in the wardrobe. Mine includes toiletries, gadgets, jewellery, scarves etc. His is just clothes and not even all of them. But myself and daughter are sneaking old torn things out when he isn't looking πŸ˜‚.

Ha..the "chairdrobe"...he has one of those too. Its the "I've worn it once so won't hang it up" space.
So good news, I'm off the statinsπŸ‘. I had a big list written down ready to argue with the doctor, a third of the way through it I noticed he was just listening to me. He said it was totally my choice whether to take them or not, so I've stopped.
Went swimming and did 40 lengths plus 250 arm exercises, feel good after it. Then lunch was a burger, coleslaw, cheese and tomato wrapped in lettuce. Then nuts and chocolate to follow and that was it for the day.

Morning all, been stuck in a rut for about 10 days now. The same 500g bouncing up and down. I know I haven't been focused, I haven't been recording food and exercise and using the weather as an excuse not to do it. Carbs have been creeping in too. So need to refocus and get my $h1t together.
Saw Occ health yesterday and I'm still not ready to return to work. A relief I suppose as I really don't feel able for it. But also upsetting hearing from a medical professional that you haven't recovered yet. And will have huge financial implications, this is my last week of sick pay.
Food sorted for the remainder of the week, I have a cabbage and mince soup, some minced beef in a tomato sauce which will top baked aubergine (inspired by many meals in Greece), yogurt, eggs, ham and lots of green salad leaves in the fridge.
As it's the beginning of the month will take some measurements today and see where I am getting.

Thanks, I just needed to refocus and without realising it I was concerned about both the GP appointment last week and the Occ Health one yesterday. Obviously I want them to tell me I have recovered but at least same time I don't feel ready to jump headlong back into the real world again.
Had an overnight whoosie...finally, and will be happy if I can maintain to the end of the week. Did an accidental 24 hour fast. Went swimming yesterday morning then came home and had some soup and a slice of cheese. Then went and got my hair done and was home much later than planned, it was too late for me to comfortably eat so I just had some sparkling water and went to bed.
Then got up a bit late this morning and did my physio. I had lunch at 2pm, finally got to make the baked aubergine with Ragu sauce and topped it with mozzarella, it was delicious and will definitely make that again.
I've to get up tomorrow to take the little kids to school and will go to the pool then while in town and do some shopping. Plus a little extra shopping to stash away for Christmas.
Chat later

Thanks @Torn_Tranquility . The aubergine was wonderful and I've made some more. Went shopping to Lidl and scored one of their €3 veg boxes. I had already bought 2 aubergines and the box had a third one in it so 6 portions of aubergine. I had enough of the mince Ragu mix for four halves and used a cottage cheese, spinach and mozzarella mix topped with tomato for the remaining two. I was baking savoury GF pastries for the freezer with this mix so got to use up all the fridge leftovers. The box also had a lot of baby potatoes and parsnips so a large gratin has gone into the freezer for Xmas and I have enough to make parsnip soup for Christmas too.
The second wedding reception is Dec 28th and looks like we will have a large contingent from husband's family, possibly 20 people and up to 10 from my family. Most will put up overnight at local hotel or BnBs but I have offered a buffet style lunch then next day for any who want. They tend to drop into us before going home anyway so it's best to be prepared and that means a total of 5 for gluten free and a number of vegetarians and pescatarian not to mention darling husband and myself on keto.
I've stocked up with juice, soft drinks and 6 bottles of wine ( we will need more wine but darling husband will look after that). We also how have a fridge full of cheese. Daughter two is sorting crisps and crackers.
Well enough about food, this is a weight loss forumπŸ˜…. I've had a big whoosie (finally) this week and this morning am 66.4kg. I just sailed through the 67s in one night. Need to check my numbers to see what the actual loss is but it's over a kilo. BMI is 28.8, I'm catching up on darling husband who is in the low 28s. (I started at 37.2 and him at about 32, he was DISGUSTED that the app told him he was obese)
Lunch yesterday was soup ham and cheese, I planned on the aubergine for dinner but wasn't hungry (even though I spent all day cooking) so I forced myself to have some yogurt with seeds and nuts as I knew my fat levels where too low for the day. I'm going out for early dinner this evening with my work manager and some colleagues and would rather not eat lunch today beforehand.
It's a physio day today so will get up soon and get that done then relax with some tea before tackling more Christmas decorations.
Chat later, take care.
