Just had to eat 2 hot cross buns! Couldn't leave one on it's own! They were Tesco Light Choices ones so I don't feel guilty :)
 
Just tried to make some banana muffins/cake with low fat butter and no cal sugar (fake sugar) they are yucky!! Ate 1 - son1 liked them.. But son2 didn't ... So made real banana cake muffins.. I had one.. Both sons liked them Much better!!

Still have the taste of the fake sugar in my mouth!!! Revolting!!
 
If you use olive oil and natural yoghurt instead if butter the fat content is really low and thd cakes are very moist .

I normally use lurpak lighter, but had run out.. I Also was trying the fake sweetener to see if it would be ok instead of sugar.. Was ok to touch, look at, and eat.. But the aftertaste - revolting! 2nd batch I made I used 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, instead of a full cup white sugar. Have tried using oil in cakes - the taste/ texture is not the same.. My sons comment was mummy don't make those other ones AGAIN!!
 
I didn't desert, just been a busy day! Am just popping on before I'm away to Zumba, don't think there will be many of us tonight but never mind just means I'll feel extra angelic!!!! Then home to jacket potato (done in the oven), jumbo king prawns & salad mmmmm can't wait!
 
Well I'm all packed and ready to go to Newcastle for 4 days with my youngest. We are having a girly bonding session. We'll put hubby's debit card to good use in the metro centre at Gateshead . She's got a makeup and skin care lesson with a pro make up artist . Not sure what else but I'm sure we'll find things to do.

We've got full breakfast in with the hotel do I hope it's not fried but grilled. I'll make the best choices possible. During the day I'm sure we'll find good food.

On the Tuesday at the metro centre I'm going to leave my walkmeter running just to see how far I walk even though it will be stop start . It will be interesting to see.

I'll keep popping on here as usual but have a good week ladies

Ah ladies maybe we should reward ourselves at goal. Hubby said last night that he can't wait for me to cost him a fortune in new clothes :) :) when I get to goal :)
I think I'm going to take him up on that offer

Well today is a new day. One my daughter has been looking forward to for some reason . We will be spending it shopping in the Gateshead metro centre :( for her of course . Although I'm hoping I will find a dress for my graduation in May.

The walkmeter will be on all day just to track progress out of interest as we won't be walking fast enough to burn a decent number of calories. However I'm hoping it still does some good.

Who knows what food we will eat . I was fairly lucky yesterday and only slipped up with 3 onion rings do not too bad .

Well I left the walkmeter on unfortunately the battery ran out before we'd finished!!!!

So. I walked for about 5 hours, I paused it when we had a coffee/lunch break. I walked around 4-5 miles and burned about 1300 calories!!! I'm quite impressed that shopping can be so beneficial . It certainly wasn't as kind to my purse! :)

When we got back to the hotel we swam for 30 minutes as well just to finish me off :)

I think tomorrow will be a lazier day. Although I'm not sure doing what exactly yet.

Well I'm sat in bed in the hotel . About to get up and have my full of the yummy cooked breakfasts they do. Then I need to head home. It's pouring with rain so I don't think I'm going to get to beamish again! I think I'm just going to wait for a sunny day and just come up here.
Emily has had a great time I think. I'm broke but she's happy and it was about time we had some time on our own. Last night she had a skin care and make up lesson from a professional make up artist. Definately a pressie worth buying for a teenage daughter.
My food hasn't been bad at all since I've been here. I've used my cals but burned a lot as well. Food choices have been reasonable too. I feel heavier though but that could be because I'm not used to such big breakfasts and so I've eaten meals differently. But could also be the fact that totm is due today but doesn't look like it will arrive.

Ah well breakfast calls :)

Having a body two days with friends. Was caught out yesterday as the food choice available wasn't as good as I hoped so today we are taking a packed lunch.
I've had a bad dose of tango for the last two days which initially I thought was due to the bits of high fat stuff I knew about while away with my daughter . The only problem is that something I chose must have had higher hidden fat or been cooked in a way I wouldn't t do to give me this reaction .
Never mind . I'm back home and cooking for myself again thankfully.

Home alone finally. Back to my own cooking so can control everything . Totm finally arrived 2 days late so should hopefully get the usual weight gain lost before my docs weigh in on Wednesday.

Got lots of paperwork to try and catch up with in the next couple of days plus a social worker visit tomorrow afternoon. So lots of brain power Needed :(

Must go for a walk today as well. Need to make up for the last couple of days

Weigh in at the docs today and I've lost 2 lb in 3 weeks. Which is disappointing but at least it's still a loss. I appear to have slowed down a lot which after 5 stone isn't surprising but I'd hoped to keep losing around 1 1:2-2 lb per week. But I'm just thankful ive lost this weight and am now a size 16 with some 14 tops. It's a great achievement and I'm really pleased.
I added up myeasurements yesterday as I've always measured . I've lost a total of 48 inches which is 4 feet of pure fat ;( absolutely disgusting but pleasing at the same time :)
