TooFatKats diary of desperation ..(and hope)

Please don't be so hard on yourself, yes take some control back, as it might feel like you are not spiraling out if control.

But try and not stress about food, please, or it might (not saying you will) rebel against it and binge.. Xxx

Officially a sts for me this week :( not happy as I obviously want to get nearer my Christmas goal but also bc totm is due in 4 days and I know it'll creep up again. Hopefully I can control it. Sometimes I can control the weight gain with low/no carbs and lots of water.

I also bought two hypnosis mp3 recordings. ' quit chocolate' and 'no sweet foods' because I've noticed that although I've always allowed myself a treat each day and its worked brilliantly up to now I've started eating more than I want too. Probably worry and busyness but I want to stop it in its tracks. I've listened to them for two nights so far. Yesterday I just had 2 squares of dairy milk and refused all sweet stuff when out with my brother and sister in law. Wonder what today will bring. I hope they work.

Ohhh they sound interesting...
You will have to let us know how you do get on with them

Don't be hard on yourself. It's not a gain. So chin up hun. Xx

Hhhmm I wonder if I should start listening to mine again, they do work but for optimum results you need to listen every day for 21 says x

Mine said use every day for 30 days then as required.
I googled hypnotherapists in Lincolnshire and this Rachel person came up. Then I saw she had ready made one you can download for £8.99 each but at the minute she has a 50% off offer for Christmas. So I bought two to see how I get on. She had downloads for everything you could think of even nose picking!!! :( urggh so I figured it was worth a try

It's worth a shot Hun, they say it takes 21 days to create a habit :)

The days go do quickly. I'm off to Christchurch in the morning til Tuesday to help move my in laws close to us. But I don't get any signal in their house so ill be missing in action for a while. Food shouldn't be too bad I don't think but ive no control so ill just have to be careful.

Be good. It's nearly Christmas :)

Spice.. and some chilli to your food and drink a pint more of water... see if that helps Xx

Well this week has been the week from hell moving my inlaws. If it could go wrong it did. Anyway I'm now at home having moved them into their house finally.

I've had a few peanuts tonight. Hubby came home with a tub of dry roasted peanuts bc he fancied them! He's never fancied dry roasted peanuts in 24 years!!! If he was a woman is think he was pregnant! :)

Because of the house move ive had to be ultra organised this year. So pressies bought and wrapped. Asda shop ordered weeks ago and delivered this morning. Turkey to be picked up from village butcher in the morning. Now I just wait. Apart from making the chocolate melt in the middle puddings they want for Christmas lunch.

I won't have reached my Christmas weight goal but ill be wearing a size 14 slinky dress :)

After my monthly weigh in at the docs they said they were happy with my weight as I looked good and BMI can't be believed anyway as everyone has a different body frame etc. so that pleased me as I've been feeling for a whole that I'm struggling to get lower. I would still like to get into the 12's so I've got some leeway but I'm actually quite happy now and just want to tone up some muscles now ready for my sponsored cycle next year.

Wow to the size 14 slinky dress :) Good news about what the doc had to say, you have done really well! Moving this time of year must be hard work, well done in getting every thing organised!

I'm ahead of the game so far :) all the food for Christmas Day is prepped. I can't decide whether to have a cooked breakfast and probably not really eat later or to have the cooked breakfast and nibble on leftovers later. We've decided not to have a starter but we are having the works fir main course. Turkey, roast and mashed spuds, sprouts, broccoli, peas, honey roast parsnips, green beans, chantenay carrots, cabbage with leek, gravy and homemade sausage meat stuffing. Oh and Yorkshire pud for some reason!
Then homemade Christmas pudding for me, chocolate melt in the middle puddings for everyone else. I've also made a chocolate log and a drunken trifle.

Do you think that's enough? :) lol.

Actually the last two are for Boxing Day along with a turkey, ham and egg terrine. And hassleback potatoes.

Sorry to bore you. It's indulgent I know but not too bad considering I don't drink. Then back to normal the day after Boxing Day.

I hope you all have the most amazing Christmas ever. X

Lol sorry was waffling. Strangely without the desserts it's great calorie wise. After I did all the prep yesterday I realised last night that we couldn't have a cooked breakfast as I'd filled all the pans :) lol. So we've just had bacon butties :)

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone Bd if any of you find yourself in the Lincoln vicinity please call in :) x
