Morning, first wi for me today 14st 8lbs, meaning that a whopping 10lbs has gone in week1, hurraayyyy
Probably time to review week 1 I suppose.
I struggled for what looks like most of the week, the first few days were ok and then I had some really bad times in the late afternoons, so I'm now splitting a shake over afternoon and later in the evening after dinner as evenings are my weak spot and I need to feel like I have something left over to go to bed with. The vanilla and chocolate ones are easily split into 3 and are great for this as I can whack them in a strong cup of coffee. NO MORE CELERY SALT, my face is as puffy as I've seen it in the mornings even after a late night vodka session, so it clearly makes me retain water. I prefer my chilli and curry powder in my soups anyway so that's ok.
Don't find any of the products offensive, another bonus, veg soup is my favourite so if I go on and do more Exante after my challenge I will definitely order more of those.
Looking at my target I have about 26 days to lose 18lbs, which I can't think would be achievable, but like I said at the start, it's about being 100% everyday and getting the best result I can in that time period, if I can get to 13st anything I will be delighted, I might be able to get 4 off for next week, which would be a nice stone in 2 weeks which would be amazing, clothes are already feeling better.
Still haven't booked anywhere for the wedding anniversary brunch, might do that this week as it will give me something extra to look forward to, there loads on new hotels that have opened here on Yas Island (where they have the Formula 1 track) that we haven't been to so I'll look into those, I've had a few recommendations, the great thing about the brunches, apart from the drinks being included, is that they are buffet style and there are loads of salads and bbq meats, so if I don't want to go massively off plan I can keep to low carb which DH will do anyway.
Hubs has been brilliant on his fitness, he's running almost 8k each evening ( 7 days a week!!) and is on the press ups and working on his abs, I am finding cooking for him quite a challenge, especially when he wants to eat at 9.30 in the evening when I am quite hungry myself. But that's the challenge I committed to so I can't complain. Well I can but he won't listen!!
Anyways, heading off into week 2 ( really it's week 2 already!), I think I've learned a few lessons, and worked out some weak spots, and perhaps found better ways to deal with some of them. I seriously would not have lasted the week without all of my buddies, but special thanks to DL, Giggle pants and Mrs Busy for being extra attentive.
Bring on week 2....
