Lol, I'm feeling much better today, thanks - I've just eaten normally. Hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad because we'll be out and about, having a picnic with my sister and brother-in-law, yum yum! xx

We had a lovely day on Anglesey yesterday. We started with a picnic in Newborough forest, which was great - I didn't hold back with what I ate, lol, and the weather was nice for a change. Then we went and had a little look at the beach, which was far too busy for our taste, but we wouldn't have been able to go on the sand with the wheelchair anyway, so they just pushed me round the wooden path that goes around the beach area. I did rather fear for my life with Kathryn pushing me, but she kept assuring me so was in full control, lol.
We then went to Beaumaris, which is a lovely little town with a castle, and had a wander/wheel around some crafty shops, got an ice cream, then finished up with chips on the front, looking out towards Snowdonia - it was cold and blowing a gale by then, but I was determined that's what I wanted to do as it's a bit of a tradition when we go there.
It was a great day, although long and tiring, and I ate far too much again, but hey, I'm on holiday, lol. The scales punished me by reading 11st 1lb this morning, but it's well deserved and I'm being good again today! xx
Next time you are in the area have a look at Beddgelert - it is a beautiful village, a bit touristy but river runs through the village with quite a wide walkway at the side of it.

We live in that Area and were in Anglesey and Beaumaris a couple of weeks ago and got our free coffee from Waitrose near the bridge.
It is mainland about 20 mins from Bangor. We were in Bangor yesterday, just for the bus ride really.
It is certainly blowy tonight - was a beautiful sunny day but the wind has got up and nearlly blown me all the way home from Asda.
Thanks, Stack and Lexie! I'm trying not to get too worried about it, lol. My main concern is that, obviously, they only do one knee at a time, and because mine are equally bad as one another I don't have a "good" knee to take the strain during recovery. But it's got to be done!! xx
or you can pay £35,000 it cost my friends employers and have them both done at the same time (a large cosmetic company she had worked for since leaving school and was 65 when she had them done).
Both my other friends that had one knee done at a time have been fine - given exercise etc to do but as I said before they are both doing well now.
