That coat is lovely! I love Joules- how did you win it?!
Jeans went well- they fitted nicely and are quite smart so will wear them for going out over the weekend as it's a bit on the chilly side for tights I think.
Not my usual style (more bootcut whereas I tend to stick to skinnies) but a change will be good.
Have a good Friday! X

Glad that the jeans fit well and that they were smart too :) bet you look fab! Nothing wrong with a bit of a change :)
Well I 'asked to be considered' for the coat on a Facebook selling site, and there was quite a few of us so the seller did a random number generator and I won! Over the moon and it's so cosy!!!!! I'm still unsure about me in jeans, I only own one pair, I've always worn dresses (big A line ones) to hide my frame, but I can't get away with that now!!
Hope you had a fab day!

Well Friday has come round fast! So tired, but walked to work again this morning so that's 3/5 days :)
However my totm has turned up... boo.
Dinner was pasta with chicken, oregano, chives, sweet corn, onions and cabbage, 0% fat Greek yogurt and 50% reduced fat cheese (HEA) which was ace as I always crave cheese when on TOTM...

I then had, 2 raspberry chews (5), a toffee (2) and a Fruity Pop (1.5)
I also had some Chilli, lime and soy dressing with lunch (2)

= 11.5/15

Me when I went to work this morning for dress down day... skinny jeans, converse and my new coat. Had a cropped tshirt on underneath.

Felt pretty good except it was tipping it down, so although I had an umbrella I ended up with the bottom of my hair being soaked...

Oh well, possible gym tomorrow plus I'm taking myself for my peppers and chicken at spoons :) then out for a Turkish/Greek meal in he evening with OH and his mate!!

This was a sneaky pic of my main...
I had feta, olives and salad for my starter.
IMG_2909.JPG
It was rice (at the back) a massive salad with tzasiki, chillies and spiced tomatoes and then a mixed grill with chicken and lamb. No idea of syns but very lovely.
My OH and his mate had Baclava for dessert, so I ordered some 'Fatless Greek strained yogurt with Grape Molassos and A handful of Hazelnuts (the actual wording)'. What I got as to what I thought I would get was totally different... an ice cream glass filled with strained yogurt, some molasses syrup?! And topped with hazelnuts. Divine I may add, but bad.... remind me to read up on desserts before I go out, it's not something that I ordinarily do!
I also had a glass of wine and then a Coke Zero.
Lovely evening!

That's my kind of meal, I can smell it and taste it....mmmmmmm

It was lovely @Quins :) I did a bit of research before I went and it was the only meal not drenched in oil! Still a bit worried about that dessert though eek. Bloomin nice though!
How are things with you?
Feeling better??

Been walking (again) need to tot up how much I have actually walked this week!!
Really enjoyed it and just nipping to Asda as we are gonna have a curry for tea as OH is unexpectedly in! Royal chicken cooked in yogurt (SW style of course!) which will be 2.5 syns a serving (there's sultanas in it!) and it also has almonds in although I will be using my HEXB for that.

No nuts in the end!
Lots of hidden okra in there!

Have decided that I'm looking for a STS this week after Saturday night. Had a lovely time but that pudding was a bit naughty!! I am now weighing next week anyway as I'm in Scotland, so will do my best!

Hi Ruth, it's been a busy week and I've not been totally focused. Having too many treats and booze since October started. Having 2 of my kids around for meals is having an affect, they are not keen on having my SW food all the time, can't blame them, but then it's a struggle for to me keep to red and green and I find the EE too easy to go off plot with my hexs. I missed my weigh in this Saturday and haven't been in the scales for a whole week! I know I'm still in target range, clothes feel loose and I feel good. Just that wintry vibe that's pervading every morning and night, riding in the dark, getting home and getting a fire lit, feeling tired most if the time. Hibernate?
Bought some cycling kit to give me enthusiasm for continuing through the winter and as Xmas presents for family to give me. Managed about 45 miles this week, but no long club ride at the weekend, too many other things going on.

Will try and focus more this week, get back to a routine.

Hi Ruth I am fine back on track to Xmas hopefully, got a Fitbit and also doing Aqua and Zumba. I cannot get my ticker to update so have deleted it and done a new one snd that will not update either any ideas ? Xxxx

Aaah Quins it's lovely that you've got your family together etc but I understand the change in routine etc. I reckon that you will be just fine, it's all about fitting it around your life which you are doing! You sound extremely busy at the min which is good and 45 miles is pretty ace :) I wouldn't beat yourself up- it all had to become part of normality as it were!
Have a lovely rest of the evening

Glad you're ok! Oo Aqua and Zumba sound a bit fab! Is it just now you've updated your tracker? Mine takes 12hrs to update (something to do with general updates from the website) so when I check back the next day it's usually changed!

Hello Ruth! How are you? I've been away for the weekend but am back and with renewed enthusiasm (again!)
I had a fab time and felt good in the new jeans- I forget what a nice feeling fitting into good clothes gives me (haven't had new stuff for ages!) OH took some pics and I wasn't horrified so I think I need to be a bit nicer to myself.
I feel like I've been a bit slack on the veg front lately so it's something I'm going to try and address, and just cut back on the extras that have been creeping in (garlic bread especially).
The coat looks lovely, lucky you winning it! I hope it's snuggly and warm- it's been pretty chilly these last few days. Well done on the steps too!
Hope you have a great day X
