Had a good day yesterday, but DH fancied Chinese when he got home from work, so I decided to join him. And for the first time ever, I decided I could do without the delicious shared starters, and crispy chilli beef and kunk-po prawns (sorry getting carried away) and just have Prawn Chow Mein. Now the Eating out Guide, the online tracker and the long and bumpy site say one portion of King Prawn Chow Mein is 5.5 .... but what do they class as a portion??? I had 1.5 bowl fools so put it down as 8 ... but maybe it should have been 11 ....... I never seem to trust the points if it's something 'naughty'.
Going to Weston Super-Mare tomorrow - first time I've been back since the Pier went, will be strange to not see it! But they've got a wind surfing kite whaddyacallit thingy going on, so should be a good day. Will have to try and pre-point all the possible places we'll end up eating so I make the right choices as I've lost my Eating out Guide book
Another busy day at work, but something I spent a lot of time on yesterday has had the parameters changed so I'm p*ssed off and refusing to work until I've caught up on diaries!
I have always taken the figs in the EOG to be for the whole dish . I agree sometimes it seems to good to be true, but thats all we've got to go on. Guess unless you ate it every night it wont do anyharm
