We usually do Greece .. Crete the last couple of years, Rhodes before that, and I do love it and the people ...mmm and the food ... but was thinking of Spain this year ... that is if my sister ever gets off her butt and checks what days she can go!!! My DH only has 2 days of leave left so Sharon and I will go for a week and he'll come for a long weekend.
 
Hi all

Having a great day at work today ... not. One of my team has been moaning to me that another of my team has been taking the p*ss and coming in late and leaving early when I'm not around ... but she doesn't want me to tell the other person that she told me .... so what exactly does she expect me to do - pretend I'm psychic and tell her off?

Also, one of my team was promised a growth in job pay rise last year, to start this month ... and now I've been told that she won't get it for another 2 years ... I haven't passed on that gem yet - she will not be pleased!!!

Arghh ... think I'll go back on holiday!!

do portugal - you can get algarve cheap and the people there are like the spanish just friendlier :D

as for work, it sounds like a nightmare situation. can understand where the lass is coming from like.. if you tell this other person who told you, then it makes work awkward for everyone.. i suppose everyone thinks as you're boss that it won't be awkward for you to say something..

as for the other thing, thats really crap :( good luck with telling her that.. i suppose on the bright side at least her jobs secure!

I will have to find a way of catching her - have no problem telling her to stop taking the P ... thing is I'm a very lenient boss, if someone asks to go early for whatever reason I'll always say yes (unless it happens all the time!) so why push it Grr

I'm still fighting for the payrise for Danielle - so not telling her until I've tried every angle :D

Morning all

Well WI day has finally arrived ... feels like I haven't been for ages. Scales are showing a 1.5-2lb gain this morning, so hopefully it won't be more than that by tonight. And then it's a week of 110% to kick into gear :)

Accidentally went to Wagamama's yesterday ... their Tamarind and Chilli pavlova is to die for!!!

Nothing exciting to report, so will end here and get on with work *yawn*

its not the work per se - its the lack of thought and consideration of others AT work :):):)

but then if I didnt have them to moan about I would have to find something else :):)

i've not tried their pavlova.. i go for their yummo udon noodles - yo! sushi and wagamamas are two of my favourite places to eat, but only person who will come with me is Becca and we can't afford to go all the time! :p

Well I am very happy to report a gain of only 1.5 pounds ... a miracle for a 2 week break!!!

Am aiming for double that off next week :) l got away with a warning from M for jumping off the wagon last night, so I'll be being good from now on :D

Right - off to find a cheap hol online YAY
