22nd Sept

Wednesday Sept 22nd

WI today with a 1lb loss. Happy. Let's see what I can manage this week;

Breakfast; banana, nectarine, strawberries, blueberries, Nat yoghurt. (250ml milk for drinks in the day - HexA)

Lunch; Veg stir fry with left over little potatoes sliced, sugar snap peas, baby sweetcorn, red onion, celery, tomatoes, a bit of left over cooked rice, soy sauce.
Cheesecake yoghurt (1Syn) 2 slices cous cous cake (2Syn)

Dinner; Chille minced beef with rice. Apple, nectarine, Activa snack pot.

snacks; 1 lotus biscuit (2Syns) guess?

Total syn = 5

Just realised that I haven't had my HexB. I will make sure tomorrow

Thursday Sept 23rd

Breakfast; Porridge (HexB) banana, 250 ml milk for drinks (H exA)

Lunch; 56g Wholemeal roll (H exB from yesterday?) not sure if this is allowed. tuna, light mayo and scrape butter (2Syn) lettuce, tomatoes, Activia snack pot.

Dinner; SW cottage pie, spring cabbage, Activia yoghurt, slice of cous cous cake.(1Syn)

Evening Nibbles away from home - guess (10Syn)

SEPT 24TH

Friday Sept 24th

Breakfast; Porridge (H ExB) banana 250ml semi skimmed for drinks in the day.

Lunch; not much time here so just grabbed - 1 laughing cow light triangle (1.5 Syn) Activia snackpot, banana, 1 slice cous cous cake (all gone now)(1Syn)

Dinner; KFC chicken (3Syn for breadcrumbs) Stir fry veg. Necatarine, activia snack pot yoghurt.

28g white toblerone (7Syn)

Saturday Sept 25th

Not as good as I would have liked today. First of all needed to edit yesterday's diary as the Toblerone was just too much to resist last night - especially as OH left it facing me on the coffee table. So this morning I thought that I would use plan B and calculate my syns weekly. So far so good. I have used 39.5 so have 30.5 left for 4 days. 7.5 per day. Easy.

Breakfast; Porridge (H ExB) banana. 250ml semi skimmed for drinks in the day.

Lunch; Salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, boiled egg, 16g low low cheese (2Syn) Slice of strawberry roulade (.5Syn) Activia snackpot.

Dinner; thought I'd been good here with steak stir fry. Lean steak thinly sliced, lots of stir fry veg, (fry light of course)then added a stir fry sauce from Asda. 98cal per 100ml so I guess about 5syn - I had 80ml at the most so will count it as (4Syn)then I added the Amoy straight to the wok noodles. Hmmm, my fingers felt a bit 'oily', looked at the ingredients and yes, the have vegetable oil in the ingredients. haven't a clue how many syns here and am counting (2Syn) probably way undercounted.
Activia snack pot, nectarine, plum.

Dinner; Veg & bean stew, cous cous, Strawberries, blueberries, creme frais light (3Syn)

Total for week 62.5 (7.5 left for 2 days - gulp)

Lunch; Left over veggie stew. Nectarine, activia snackpot yoghurt.

Dinner; Lean mince, onion, garlic, celery, tinned tomatoes, curry paste (2Syn) rice, light creme frais (1.5Syn) Activia snackpot, plum, nectarine.

A good day today with well over an hour walking. Hopeful for tomorrows weigh in.:)
 
Lost 2lbs which is brilliant. Still find it hard to believe it's possible to lose weight while eating so well. 17 lbs in total in 11 weeks!
Anyway, onwards and downwards;

Dinner; Pasta, chopped bacon, onion, mushrooms, garlic, pasata with basil, creme frais light (1Syn)

Friday 1st October

Bit of a struggle this evening. Been busy decorating today so maybe that is it. Now I just feel like picking.

Breakfast; Porridge (H ExB) banana. 350ml skimmed milk for drinks in the day.

Lunch; pasta salad with tuna, carrot, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes, corriander. Plenty of green salad.
Slice of cous cous cake (1Syn)

Dinner; Bean and veg stew, mashed potato. Nectarine, ff yoghurt.

THEN - about an hour after my dinner I thought 'I've been really good today, so I will have that giant chunk of toblerone sitting in my cupboard waiting for just such a day. (7Syn)
That was nice. A cup of tea and just one rivita scraped with butter (2.5Syn)

When I went in the cupboard to get the toblerone, I spied a SpecialK choc chip bar. I had noticed that the best by date was October 2010. Best eat it now so it doesn't get wasted.(4Syn)

Total today = 15.5( Iwas planning on under 10)
Edit - 10 haribos while watching TV later so Total was eventually 25.5!!!

After a dreadful end to the day yesterday, I am resolved to carefully watch my Syns today. (a good quote somewhere on here "Nothing tastes as good as the feeling when you've lost weight" - trying to keep that in mind)

Dinner; Hearty beef stew, mashed potatoes, I small slice of giant jaffa cake gone wrong (jelly added too early, flan case soaked in orange so filled with strawberries and drizzled with melted bournville!!Yummy 4Syn)

October 5th

Tuesday 5th October
The end of another week. Not brilliant (I still have to complete a week of only 70 Syns) but not bad either. Hopeful for a loss again tomorrow.

Lunch; tomato herby omelette with lots of salad.
I slice lemon curd cous cous cake (1Syn)

Dinner; Chunky Veg curry (left over from last night) rice, creme fraiche (1.5 Syn)

Snack; Fat free vanilla yoghurt with spoonful of nutella/rivita mix that didn't 'hold together'.Yummy (4Syn)

Exercise today 20 minutes walking to school plus lots of bending & stretching painting bathroom walls
 
October 6th

Wednesday 6th October

Weigh in today saw a loss of 1lb. Not a lot, but still a loss so all is good.
This week I am aiming for 2 lb at least so I will;
1)control my evening nibbles
2)aim to stay below 10 syns daily
3) organise a stash of syn free nibbles for times of temptation
4) step up my excercise - at least leave for the school run 5 minutes earlier and take the scenic route.
5) drink more water.

Lunch; Pasta, bacon, mushroom, pasata, a bit of creme fraiche(1Syn)lots of salad.

Yippee!! No need to edit last night, and another syn-light day today with no evening nibbles. (thanks I think to Vals signature quote which I have nailed to my brain - "Nothing tastes better than losing weight feels". Brilliant!)

Fat free vanilla yoghurt with spoon of Nutella/rivita crumbs (1Syn)
Sugar free jelly with yoghurt (.5 Syn)
Nectarine, plum.
