Week 5... ARGH!

Friday night, week 5, 100% so far no blips BUT the novelty is definitely wearing off this week, help!

Is it just this week? I read somewhere once the 5th week of a new routine is always the hardest so I hope so..

Perhaps when I get on the scales Monday ill get my mojo back :(
 
Hi smidge. I agree as this is week 6 for me and even though the weight is coming off and I feel good I am losing interest a bit. I miss food! One bar a day isn't enough chewing!!

I'm trying to stick with it tho as finally hit the 12s but I can't lie.... Finding it hard.

Sorry no words of wisdom from me :-(
 
Thank you hun, it's just nice to know someone else is going through a rough patch!! I'm aiming for the 11's atm and it can come soon enough, I hope you get into the 12's soon - for both our sanity!!!
 
Hi Smidge

this week is week 5 for me too. Although I haven't been tempted, I have waivered. I decided to try and motivate myself, so I went window shopping yesterday and tried on some clothes that were 1-2 sizes smaller than the last ones I bought. That gave me a boost. I also discovered that some of the clothes I've bought but rarely worn now fit. Woohoo!

Keep up the good work and think about how far you've come.

I brought down some clothes from the loft this weekend which were packed away for what I thought would be forever lol, a couple of the items even fit now! Still looking forward to weigh in tomorrow morning, fingers crossed I'll hit my June target :D
 
That's interesting that you have a June challenge. I don't think I have any control over the amount I lose each week as I'm being almost religious in sticking to TS. How are you maximising your weight loss?
 
Well it's not something I necessarily have control over it's just more of a "I'd like to lose"! I've been 100% and have been hitting the gym 4 days a week in the morning, so the target certainly keeps me doing those bits to do my upmost to hit my target!! :) There is a post in the challenge forum if you want to give it a go yourself!
 
Thanks guys but... Argh! So gutted, the scales I use at my gym were out of order this morning!! Couldn't weigh in, fingers crossed it's fixed today so I can tomorrow :( oh well, week 6 here I come!
 
Hey wayz, thanks for checking :)... Still no scales so I just went to a Tesco to use some and apparently I've stayed the same but I did weigh at the end of the day and normally I weigh in the morning so I'm not goin to beat myself up about it just yet!! I'm feeling a bit more motivated this week, only 10 weeks to go till I go on holiday so I can have a nice break from exante too lol!!
 
Yes but I guess when you weigh at home you're naked or nearly?? So, assuming you didn't strip off in tesco I'm sure you did have a loss this week!
 
Hahaha I would have loved to see peoples faces if I did strip off next to the tills :D I did my measurements today instead and have lost a bit of inch all round so that's made me feel better! :)
 
Week 5 has been a big harder. I followed the plan and had a 200 calorie meal in week 4 as recommended. It's weird because when having the meal I struggled to fit it in but then this week I miss it and the chewing aspect. Still sticking to it though.
 
I chose bars for that exact reason, chewing! Although some days the bars make my jaw hurt haha

Back on track today, but I managed to knock myself out of ketosis too so not too happy with myself now :eek:( but I will just have an early night I think to stop me eating xx good luck smidge xx
 
Hello,

First off, congratulations for going so long on 100%. You've done so well.

Tomorrow will be the start of week 3 for me. I've struggled the first week, but this week has been a lot better and today's been the best so far. I'm so motivated reading all the posts on this site.

All the best. I must start doing more exercise. Can't face the thought of the gym yet though. Perhaps when I've lost a bit more.
