Weekly weigh-in thread

Excellent result for both of you S+S, well done! :D

Well done Marty - missed this.

I STS last week, only posting now because of Xmas break. Very happy with that. :)

I managed to put on 2lbs this week. I don't mind that. Had a few wobbles & shakes yesterday, but I'm really struggling with my appetite :(

I must sort it out though. We are on a cruise on the 5th Jan so I want to get the weight back off!

Hope you all had a great Christmas & Happy New Year :D

That's pretty good, Sharon, and I'm sure you'll see the weight go in time for your cruise (another one? Lucky!).

Terrible WI for me - gained 6lbs. After a few moments of feeling sorry for myself, I then became hugely embarrassed as i started to remember just what I had eaten this past week -

- a whole bag of orange truffles and other chocs
- 2 pains au raisins
- lots of Baileys
- bathtubs of red wine
- cheese (will I never learn?)

So, actually, I am OK with it. I've learned my lesson and will get this extra off over the next two weeks.

Sx

Weighed but not saying, a bit more than you Susie, but not worried cos I know it will soon come off when I behave lol (and that is a definite when not if)

LOL, I'll go for that as not looking forward to THIS Friday's weigh-in!!!

Weirdly though, I still feel in control of my weight, even though I know it'll be well up. I am allowing myself to eat some carby stuff -just because I want to, in the full knowledge that I will lose the weight I gained when I go clean and green again!

I've never ever felt like this before - previously as soon as some weight went on after a diet, I buried my head in the sand and told myself that I 'deserved' a few 'treats' after 'being so good'. Complete change in the way I handle food now - I control what I eat. Isn't it great??? :)

You sweetie I could hug you for encapsulating my thoughts, that's exactly how I feel. It might take me a year or more to get to 10 stone (or whatever), but I just am so confident - for the first time in YEARS - that I'm going to get there. How exciting!!!

YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :D that is exactly my thoughts - I can have a couple of weeks off - but I will get back to where I was (and below if THEY let me) :)

Yay for Atkins! Not just a diet but a state of mind. :)

First time I have gone through Crimbo not worried about how much weight I will put on cos I know I can send it packing :D Atkins forever :D
