Thanks all - am just afraid of putting foot on the slippery slope and loosing my footing.....................really need this to stop now and get back down the scale a bit - have been really good today and stepped up the exercise too so fingers crossed xx
I do try to Jim, have been good all week so far and plan on keeping it that way, my problem is the booze at weekend, it just seems to take over and then my eating slips too. I stayed off the booze for 6 months on Exante so I am sure I can do a few weeks to get back down to where I want to be - cheers Jim xxxx
Im the same my eating is spot on but its the booze, i feel like i deserve a drink after a hard day at work! It does become a habit thats hard to break.

Back in the day before I started Atkins and I was drinking pints of Guinness every night, I ended up not being able to sleep if I hadn't had a skinfull, I think that was borderline alcoholic, if not actually alcoholic.
I'm with you on that Jim, I do struggle to sleep quite a lot these days and I think it is lack of alcohol it is so easy to cross over the line of becoming dependant on it
