Weight loss Diary & General musings...

Rubbish! Keep chasing the landlord - in this weather that is an essential. How did appointment go? X

Phoned the landlord told us to call the agency, they told us to call landlord. Bf is calling them again now, what an absolute joke.
Waiting for doc now and nearly crashed my car on the way, really not having a good day so far :(

Everything came back ok from docs!
Lump is not a lump, just some strange skin thing thats not to worry about, and pains in sides are my ribs.

And I fixed the poxy boiler myself, thank you google.

Gunna try to look up where I can get advice from about my rubbish landlord, been here 2 months now and nothing has been sorted like it was promised.

Oh well, happy thoughts happy thoughts!
Atleast I have my health :p

So glad everything is good, at least health wise. I had a funny pain in bed the other night, convinced it was my liver, but it was actually my hip bone - imagine after all these years I have a hip bone/pelvis!

I have a place I rent out and I decided not to use a letting agency as they were quoting me 15 - 20% of the rental income to manage the let, I do it myself and really that just means the tennant rings me and I sort things out straight away. If I was your landlord I would be really unhappy that the agency was passing me direct contact. They should be dealing with everything and earing their money. Id go and yell at them.

........and breathe!

Can you get some property in London I could rent from you?! lol
There will be yelling!
Didn't want to fall out with them though cos we really love the place, just certain things need to be sorted and they're making no effort.

Blimey, I couldnt afford a shoe box in London, and I dont really want this responsibility but I couldnt sell it so it was the only option (didnt want to live in it either as it was my old marital home with lots of unhappy memories), but saying all that if you fancy a change of view and lifestyle, and a new life in a small market town in the north west I'd do you an AMAZING deal!

xx

I will bare that in mind!
Always been a country girl at heart ;)

Gunna have a nice HOT bath now, still got abit of cold water in there with a lush bath bomb I don't want to waste lol

Glad it was nothing to worry about. And, is it also wrong that I laughed when u said the pain was your ribs?! lol! Just kept thinking about what it would be like to be skinny enough to realize i had ribs!

Pahaha I thought that when she told me 'thats your ribs, thats why they are hard'
How embarrassing... even more embarrassing I suppose if I said 'wow I've never felt them before!'

Ha!!! So wait what was the pain???

She reckons I've strained em somehow or been sitting awkwardly etc

Oh really!? Then surely the pain must have gone or nearly gone now if it was that?

Try Citizens advice Bureau about LL issues x

Yeah its ok now actually, only get it a little at work sometimes, probably over stretched on wii fit!
thanks hun will try them tomoz x

Ha! Aww see - all that googling was no good! Xx

Its dangerously addictive!
First thing I said to my B/f after leaving the docs was 'I think I am now ready to accept I'm a hypochondriac'!

Glad the drs went ok hunni. Hmmm you should really get some advice about that useless landlord of yours. Definitely agree with citizens advice bureau xxx

Ha ha bless! Doctors must hate google for that!

Hey there chica!

Sorry to hear about your landlord. Being in the field, I think you should communicate only with him in writing If he is not doing his duties. What does it say about in your contract and when did he last do a has safety check? Boilers are the number one hazard in rented property.

Now keep smiling!

Thanks for the advice, will dig the papers out tomorrow and see :) x
