What have we eaten today

Well I pluucked up the courage to weigh and i have lost 1/2 lb, its been a difficult 4 weeks but at least i am going in the right direction. plus its totm so this is a first to lose and not gain water weight.

Lady A, good to read your plumbing is sorted, i think that would stress me out to.

Loulou, well done on your weight loss.

We should add it up weekly to see how much we have lost between all of us on this thread for a bit of fun.

hey, well the box says 2 weetabix is 127, then i normally have 125ml skimmed milk which is only 46, so that adds up to 173! i say put it at 200 if ur worried then u can have an extra snack! x

Yesturday i had glass of milk for breakfast
a turkey subway sandwhich
a packet of skips
and lots of alcohol but i was on vodka so hopefully shouldnt be too bad!

I know I wasn't going to weigh myself til Monday but I couldn't resist stepping on the scales today...and I've actually lost 1 more lb! I am sooooo glad I haven't gained. Chances are I probably did at some point over the last 11 days but at least I'm still going in the right direction now!

And I think you are right about the water LaLa. Just gotta start over and work our way back up!
 
B - yoghurt/cinnamon and nutmeg
s - 2 crackers
L - pumpkin soup and bread
s - coffee and half a muffin
d - atkins bar
2 glasses of white wine, 2 slices of cheese, 10 cashews

Think i have done about 1200 cals no more than 1300.

Just wondering how many cals everyone is consuming per day? I am aiming for 1100 - 1300, however hoping to be more on the 1100 side. It's day 5 for me CCing.

Oh and a 137cal protein bar so maybe that's 1300 ish!
 
Ooh Jo, good idea about adding all our losses up! Shall we start from this week?

I'm aiming for around 1500 calories per day Bren, which is usually plenty for me. I started off on 1200, but quickly felt that it wasn't the best thing for me, as whenever I plateau there's no real room to reduce calories. It seems to be working well for me so far. Best of luck CC, how are you finding it so far?

I've had this today:

Breakfast: Rice krispies (with skim milk), and strawberries and blueberries in 100g light choices natural yogurt (only 55 cals per 100g!) Cup of coffee

Lunch: Leftover soup, one slice wholemeal bread, wotsits and a babybel light

Dinner will be: WW tomato and basil chicken with side salad

That adds up to 830 calories, which leaves me plenty for a snack later, thank God, because this WW meal looks quite small!
 
Hey Bren, I'm allowing myself up to 1,500 max per day but aiming for around 1,200. Hope you are finding CCing 'easy' enough!

And LaLa - WW meals are always tiny!Just eat slowly, savouring every drop lol and maybe sip water too - it might make you feel fuller. But at least you have leftover calories for snacking like you said, yay :).

Today I have had:

B - Honeydew Melon
L - 2 slice of toast with very low fat cheese spread
Snack - hot chocolate!!

Dinner is probably gonna be tuna pasta with mixed peppers through it
and then more melon for dessert.

Total calorie intake today is only around 800 but should be back up to normal healthier levels come Monday when I get paid!
 
Hi Bren, yes I have around 1500 per day.
I manage fine on that to i dont feel to hungry, i think my body has got used to it.

yeah lou, we need to add all our loses together, do we all weighin on a friday.
 
I AM ALSO A MONDAY GAL!

I didn't weigh myself last monday though.... Stupid!

however I feel like I am loosing and as I have just swapped diets to eat real food now. My body got really bloated and then in the past 2 days I have felt normal again. So i weighed this morning and hopefully i will see a change from today on monday morning. Just would like to see the scales move to reassure me I am doing the right thing.

thats ok guys from Monday we could add them up and see how much we have lost by the end of next we.

Bren, I was in a similar situation, I was on atkins/low carb diet and then i changed to ccing. I went 3-4 weeks without losing an oz and I was really fed up, especially as i lost 11lb in 3 weeks low carbing! It became a mind game them, but i kept going somtimes not perfectly but in the last 2 weeks I have lost 2 1/2 lbs so hopfully I am on the move again.
 
Hello can i join u all im going to start sunday also give weight watchers a break now.
My wi day will be a sunday morning, i may have a little look at the scales to see if these any movement this week.!

This thread is going to help me to see what others are eating so hoping i can get some knowledge too.! xx


 
Everyone I am loving CCing. I did it many years ago and lost around 8 kilos over 7 weeks. Although I was younger and was exercising 5 times a week for 1hr15mins each session. Just trying now to get back into the exercise. Still going to stick with 1200 per day and see how I go.

Jot, I remember you doing Atkins. I think this week I have bloated and body will not loose much if any due to adjusting to carbs returning especially veges. I'm a vegetarian too!

Today;
2 eggs and c/cheese
coffee
meal replacement bar ( I was out at the shops and then had a hair appt or 3 hours)
2 coffees
3 squares of dark choc
2 crackers with cheese
1 WW biscuit
10 cashews
tofu and vege stirfry (yummy)
WW water flavouring (50cal)

I think I have drunk around 3.5ltrs and I think the above is 1300 for the day. Oh and forgot jsut had half a glass of wine! well that will be the 30 mins I did at the gym this afternoon!

I looooove tofu stirfry. I'm not vegetarian but tofu is awesome.

Not a lot of variety in my diet til I get paid Monday I'm afraid!

So far today it's been:

B - honeydew melon - around 64 calories

And I'm just about to have lunch. Which will be 1/2 tin of light choices soup with a slice of toast. That'll be around 160 calories all in.

I forgot about Honeydew!

I know a glass is okay but had 2 last night also!! hehe. So just getting some ideas for Monday's food as I am not going to plan on the weekends and just eat what I feel like.
So Monday......

yoghurt, cinnamon/nutmeg and flaxseeds 160 cals
strawberries/kiwi 80 cals
home made vege soup + 2 crackers 200cals
coffee and banana 100 cals
apple 60 cals
fish and salad 300 cals
g/tea and 2 WW biscuits 70 cals
sprite zero 4 cals
Roughly ..... 974, will add something to make it 1150 ish

Afternoon everyone :) and welcome Shanny! That's great that you're getting on well with CC Bren, I've tried atkins before, and although it works for some, it just wasn't for me. Much prefer the "everytihng" in moderation approach.

Today so far I've had breakfast, lunch is in the oven. I've actually planned out dinner too, lol, always much more organised on the weekends!

Breakfast: Beans on toast (half can beans, two small slices wholemeal) and coffee
Lunch: WW shepherd's pie and brussels sprouts - I love sprouts. Will have an apple after.
Dinner: New potatoes, turkey escalopes and salad.

This comes in at 1178 calories.

What does tofu taste like? Is it quite low cal?
 
High in protein low in carb. Maybe 100gms is 105cals. It is plain in flavour, but I like this. However try putting it in the wok first (add garlic, coriander and ginger) for 1.5mins then add all your vege's and cook for 4/5 mins. In the last 30 secs add soy sauce, chilli flakes and terriyaki sauce. Stir through and turn off. YUM!
