What's your favourite childhood read?

I used to love Enid Blyton and The famous five but also adore Janet and Allan Ahlberg just for the simple fact of the illustrations and the physical activiy accomping reading the books

Another vote for Enid Blyton. I got all the Malory Towers books out of the library over Christmas - had such good fun reading them and reminiscing about my childhood
