I didn't I just put it in with coke. I brought an unsmoked joint, I believe the sweetness of the diet coke balances any saltiness in the joint x

Already mentioned upthread that Asda are selling Alpen Light bars for £1.50 a pack .... but pick up a copy of the asda magazine for January and you will find a 50p off voucher so it works out at £1 a pack - BARGAIN!

I got 10 packs at the weekend and picked up another ten copies of the magazine on my way out. The voucher is valid until either March or May (not sure which as the printing is rather blurry)

Goung to aldi this week. Anything i shoukd look out for? I want to do the pulled pork and they have a frozen gammon joint for 2.99. Would that be free with the fat cut off? Also yoghurts and crisps etc?

They keep for ages!!! We went BNS picking once and got loads - like over 30!!! It was only the last few we had to maybe trim here and there

We had lots of BNS soup, BNS risotto, BNS chips, BNS mash...you get the gist

Have you tried it before in the slow cooker, I'm not too sure if 'diet coke' will work in the slow cooker.

I've done this ladies in diet coke in slow cooker, it was amazing!!
