I bought some simple electronic ones (they only weigh!), and needed some with a big clear display. The ones I wanted were not in stock (of course), so I ended up with these WW ones: Buy Weight Watchers Ultra Slim Designer Glass Scale. at Argos.co.uk
they are consistent, readable, but a bit hard to turn on by 'tapping'. I have to move them out of their corner under the eaves to stand on them properly so that's not an issue - moving them gives them a 'tap' when the feet hit the floor. They can lb and kg via a switch on the underside.
From the comments on the Argos site it looks like they need a firm level floor (definitely not carpet!).
They weigh me about 12lbs more than my old ones, quite depressing in that it means true weight is that much further away. But I'm wearing size smaller jeans today to remind myself I really have been losing.
12lbs more??? take them back they must be faulty!!! do they have carpet feet on them? or you weighing on hard floor?
and clothes are really the tell all that you have been losing. get a tape measure too and start measuring.
