Have you seen Dr Christians program on CH4 no way would i go under the knife unless i had to, i suggest you do, its harder the natural way but safer.

I have been watching the ugly face of beauty & it doesn't worry me. I am having keyhole surgery & have totally researched everything & as far as I'm concerned the pro's outweigh the con's. I could be cured of 2 very serious medical problems... people with diabetes die of diabetes related diseases of which there are plenty to choose from.

I certainly don't think its the easy way out... its a tool to help me maintain. I can't tell you the countless times I have lost weight Stephen & got to my goal weight & due to conditions I have (and overeating I'm not saying its all medical) I have regained what I have lost.

I think if you ask anyone who has had surgery if its the easy way out they will tell you otherwise... surgery tends to be the last option for many of us that have an addiction with food & its not something you can give up like drink or alcohol... besides there is no way that I would be given NHS funding for my operation if it wasn't going to benefit greatly from it & not just weightloss wise.

I'm not just going under the knife for vanity reasons... this has to be done to ensure I am around for my kids for longer, I have to do this!!

At the moment I'm not working Fuzzy... am trying to find something that would fit in with the kids but Nada!!

I know not everyone is going to agree with what I'm doing & its not for everyone the same way that a certain diet, a specific job cannot be right for everyone.... there is no one size fits all, but this is what fits for me & I am very VERY thankful to have been given this opportunity. x

I know!! Bloody thing.... 4x4's are so much more expensive when they go wrong!! Cars worth about 8k I think Jim or I think it would definately go!!

Thank God for credit cards thats all I can say... we'll still be paying it of when its scrapped at th is rate!

Im sorry StephenP, but I dont think you are being fair to Linz. She has done a lot of soul searching on this. That programme is about botch ups, and to try and make people aware that they have to do research etc. WLS is by no means an easy way out, in the slightest. I have been following the diary of another minimin member who had it, and actually, I think it is a hell of a lot harder than "just doing it the natural way". It really annoys me how people have jumped on this bandwagon of attacking people for making this choice, I think Linz should be admired.
I know you were just giving your point of view, but perhaps you havent read enough of Linz's diary to see how hard this had been for her.

Sorry if I have spoken out of turn on your diary Linz, but I had to say something.

Well said Clarri. We support Linz no matter what (by we i mean myself and Vicky! Lol). Its not been something she had done without thought and neither has it been an easy decision to make. Stephen if it had have been a face lift or a boob job then i could probably understand what youve said to a certain degree but this is a life changing operation that can make drastic changes to Linzi's health for the better.

Hi Linz babe, im good just suffering morning sickness. It would be better if i could actually be sick but i think the nausea is worse.

Lovely day thanks, although she doesn't like it when we brought the cake out & sung happy birthday to her (she doesn't like being centre of attention like that!) We had 16 kids here from 12-2 then walked over onto the village green where we had a kids party from 2.30-4.30 with an entertainer & balloon maker (the village have a fete every year & the money raised is put towards a party for the kids & then the adults!). We then came back so that she could open her pressies... lots of dolls & hello kitty goodies! Then at 7pm we headed back over to the green for the adults party... there was an absolutely awesome band & we partied until midnight. Amalie finally fell asleep at 1130 & then we put jakey to bed at half midnight then Paul & I went next door to our neighbours house (they have a fully kitted out bar in their garden) & continued partying until 0330!! OMG I was shattered... & I'd been on the Pimms since midday so my head was not a pretty place to be this morning!!

Fab day & the kids were all just absolutely amazing considering they'd had 3 parties & were shattered!

Hows the shakeweight?? I'm very tempted!

Thats awful Cheryl.. I had that with both my too & wished I could actually be sick, nausea is awful!!

Its so humid here today.. very close indeed & thats not helping the dehydration & hangover!!

Went shopping to the camp shop today & got some final bits for our camping trip next week, essentials like water proofing spray & a tent sewing kit!! When we had our friends in our tent last week the kids managed to trash our bedroom so we figured while its up fo 2 weeks we can do some minor repairs to it rather unpacking it all now!

We got Amalie a cute self inflating mat covered in flowers as she's now out of her ready bed... plus I now have camping pillows, whoop whoop, I mean what more could a girl ever need?

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend... off for a chilled out night as I think the kids will be to bed early! xxx

Glad you had a good one. i ended up leaving my friends wedding reception early coz got a sudden onset of sickness. It just comes when it feels like it. Oh well.
Mmmmmmmmmm pims. Oh Linz i expect you to feed me pims with fruit in it and everything when ive had this baby. i love it.
