I'm not suprised you have to do that!! I had problems when I was at the airport as I was the first woman to do my job when I joined the company & when I fell pregnant they didn't know about risk assesments etc... took them 5 months to realise I shouldn't have been doing what I was doing!

I know then we get made to feel bad coz we want a family! I dont know if it was hormones or the fact she was talking down to me and really tried to get one over, if i hadnt have been prepared, armed with the policy she would have walked all over me in that meeting (the hr officer not my boss). I came out and cried
