Do anti-inflammatories affect weight loss?

hi caz the anti inflams i was on stopped my weight loss and i started putting on what id lost :cry:. think it depend which ones your on hope this helps

hi caz hubby picking up meds today iv stopped taken the other ones and already noticing the diffrence trousers are just slightly loser yay
you could try your anti just check your weight everday on the wii thats what i did and found it slowly going up (2lbs over 10 days )

Caz if its your neck and shoulder id try compress and gel before taking tablets if your at all worried. My friend woke one morning with what you have, tried every tablet going (she a sister in charge of A&E so has some strong pain killers) and nothing touched it but used the compress and gel and it went.

Update on my sister.

Baby has lost a little weight & fluid is non-existant, so she is 36 weeks & the baby is not even 4lbs in weight, she is seeing the specialist again next tues & they will book her in for a c-section for the end of the week!!!!

Little dink will have to go into special care & they have been told that it'll be unlikely that they have any contact after its born as they need to do alot of tests but if they can get a quick cuddle in they will!

So my little neice or nephew will be arriving next week & we'll all know better what the future holds... she's also suffering really badly with carpol tunnel syndrome & piles!! Bless her hardly been a 'blooming' pregnancy!!

Oh love her, big hugs. Its amazing what those places can do now. Everything crossed for you all babe. Lots of steriods headding babys way, they are great for that.

I think definately its time for little one to come out & find out whats been going on... they didn't expect little dink to survive at her 22 week appt, then told her if she made it to 28 wks then 34 wks that they'd get baby out... so they're both fighters & have done amazingly to get this far.

Oh Linz, thats great that she got to 36 weeks, makes it all the better for the little one, but worrying that babs didnt gain weight. Sending possie vibes her way.
