¡¡ʎǝuɹnoɾ s,ǝpuolqǝǝzʇıp - same old, same old!

Thanks guys...xxx

WW I met up in Costa this morning with 2 old school mates for a cuppa which was fab, picked AJ up then a mate dropped in for a cuppa. Sainsburys arrived & it would appear that I have completely over estimated the capacity of my fridge & freezer so some replanning will have to take place! Have been emptying out kitchen cupboards & sorting out things I've not used for a year... must be mad!

I can't shift this tiredness or headache at the mo but strongly suspect thats because I am struggling with my water intake.

Apart from that my lovelies not much else... trying to catch up on the thousands of posts I've missed today. x

Sounds like a nice day - until the shopping arrived at least. We have two fridges and they both get completely filled up on big shop day Linzi!

Could the tiredness/headache be linked to the evil carbs at all???

Yesssss! Evil carbs boo hiss (I'm chewing the gin, as you can probably tell) :)

Sounds like things are going great - really pleased xxxx

I felt this shattered while low carbing... just don't feel comfortable in myself if that makes sense, low carbing, upping carbs, low fat, calorie counting, working out what is going to suit my body seems like a complete mystery to me & my head right now... its weird I can't describe or put my finger on it!

You do have an awful lot going on in your life and you are bound to be a bit cabbaged trying to fit everything together, but you are doing a smashing job with AJ, and with yourself too, just look how far you have come in the last year xxxxx

Poor Linzi. :( Are you remembering your supplements every day? Hope you feel great soon petal - maybe it's just the general bleuchiness of midwinter?

Maybe you need to take a break from eating plans, so to speak - if you're not feeling comfortable? Or maybe head straight back into induction and give that a shot for a couple of weeks? xxxx

Thanks ladies... confused.com xx

I think I am going to try sometime out from weighing measuring etc, I know I need to work harder on my water too... I know I have to low carb in some form or another but how low etc is a bit of a mystery!

Why not do induction (so no weighing), keep the water up, eat when you feel hungry and see how it goes? xxx

Problem with induction is that I have alot of malabsorption including carbs so I think its too low & thats why I wasn't feeling well on it. Maybe I'll try again & see if I feel better this time round?

That sounds like a good plan, might take some of the pressure off for a while?

What off plan or induction Bren? x

I was thinking induction but forgot about your needing extra to make sure you get everything you need, oh dammit, am so not sure which way you should go :(

Does your surgeon have any thoughts on the ideal post-op diet for his clients Linzi? And know what? No matter what you're doing, you're doing it right! You're losing so so steadily, that at this stage it has got to be about feeling good too!

Sorry to hear you're feeling so rough linz - hope you figure out best possible path. Well done with A - sounds like fantastic progress:D

Yes to what Bren and Clare say. You have been through some major body workover, hun - so talk to your GP/surgeon and tell them how you're feeling. Maybe there is a simple explanation, which a different vitamin/food regime would sort....or maybe it's just you being a woman and having a mad day, with lots of family stuff going on (we are complicated, goddamit) :)

Yeah I know!!

The dieticians that we see are the usual low fat, high carb following so its hard to really chat to them about low carb!

Well I think you should USE all that training they have to get a plan where you get everything you need AND it's low carb. That would be a challenge for them! :)
