¡¡ʎǝuɹnoɾ s,ǝpuolqǝǝzʇıp - same old, same old!

And she's doing amazingly!

OMG I'm so cold again today... am flumaxed by invoices its hard to do them without being able to cross reference with the admissions & registers so am meeting with the admissions officer tonight & fingers crossed we'll have them done!

Having some soup for lunch to warm me up then will get cracking with the housework... that'll warm me up!

and burn that fat Linz ;)
Oh so no date night again :(

Linz - there is a little word in't English language - NO!!!!
time you started using it a bit more hon - especially if you get the job - you simply won't have time for running after all those lazy bu@@ers!
Take it easy :D please?

Thanks Bren... I'm going to speak to the chair coz the 3 people she has doing the majority of the work all leave in Sept when our kids move up to primary & if she doesn't get some of the others doing something she's gonna be snookered!!

Its such a shame as we are a charity committee run preschool which the parents know when they sign up but figure it'll be someone else that'll do the work!

I've gotta stop whineing about it I'm boring myself about it! :D

Someone once said to me "No is a complete sentence". I'd never really thought about that before but she was right. Why do I have to make excuses for something I don't want to/haven't got time to/don't feel able to do - short answer - I don't x

It was a counsellor when I was really stressed and she asked me the question "Have you said NO recently?" - My reaction and the pause before answering negated the need for the answer - then she said "What do you do for YOU?" - And do you know, I had trouble answering again x

I think it is vital Linz - otherwise we will turn around one day and ask what it was all about. I'm not negating the role you play as a mum - that was really important to me too but it doesn't mean that YOU don't count also. One thing I used to do is have a book on the go in the bathroom. You wouldn't believe how long a sit (sp) on the toilet or a bath would take x

You do loose alot of yr own identity when becoming a mum, yr wife, mother & a whole host of other roles & what defined you as yr person before they came along seems to get pushed aside... I love what I do for my kids & am relishing the fact I've had the amazing opportunity to be at home with them but I definately now am finding that I want something for me too again... nothing major just a little something!

I long for the day that the door doesn't open almost instantly you've sat down on the toilet!! I think I use Mini's as a real escapism too its a world of people who understand & aren't scared to chat about it, which you just don't get in real life! Not so openly anyway!

Its to easy to wash what we once were under the carpet isn't it.... thank you for reminding me of this. xxx

That is exactly IT. I too was a stay at home mum and wanted to be there with and for the kids. I had other mums and kids in the house a lot and went walking, swimming etc with the kids. I never had much to spare cash wise so simple pleasures were the thing.

I did start a small craft business from home when my third was little but even that over-ran me and, although I loved the craft, it became a just a job instead of the fun thing that I started. It did, however, secure one or two holidays in Cornwall x

Thanks ladies.... would love to rep you but can't!! Aaaahhh!

Its such a shame that we can't/won't/don't talk more freely in real life or we'd find out that what we feel is actually normal & we're not the odd ones out but actually in a huge majority of others in exactly the same boat!

Love you guys.... & I really mean that. If you were here I'd be hugging you right now. x

People just dont feel comfortable talking do they face to face? typing/testing comes much easier to me!
