Oh dear it's a difficult time for littlies. I remember my eldest being difficult each time he changed school. Oh hang on, no....he was just plain difficult! You may find she's better once the holidays have started. Maybe try not mentioning school again for a few weeks and get on with enjoying the summer. I really do think that too much preparing them is as bad as not preparing them at all. The schools seem to make such a big deal of it Why make such a drama out of something that everyone has done? You don't see the entire country going around traumatised do you lol.
I know sometimes it does seem very hyped up... see below for what we had to do this morning! x

Hi linzi - hope today going well. Forgot to say there is a really good series of books that have helped me a lot - they are "your x year old" by louise ames. On amazon and often very cheap (1p) plus shipping. They talk about normal development and changes at each age. Aparently my daughter even when horrible is completely normal
. Once ive read the latest i find my mantra more effective!

Hi all, meant to be packing for camping but had to come on & say Hi, besides I have a finances committee mtg tonight (yuck) and they go on & on & on so won't be about laters.....
Firstly Amalie slept all the way thru until 0630 this morning, a good 12 hours she had & we had a morning getting ready for school full of laughter & singing! We had an induction morning at 'big' school this morning where the kids get to go & play & take photo's of the classroom, the teacher, the playground etc etc & then make it into a scrap book... when I told her it was time to leave she got all weepy & said 'Mummy, I need to stay at big school, I'm too big for preschool now!!' you can't win can you??
Anyway last night in the bath she told me she was excited about big school & Miss Debenenenenenham!!
So I think alots sleep related & perhaps I was trying to look for lots of excuses & actually I just need to get the sleep thang back to rights!!
Fingers crossed I can get it all sorted before I have my meeting tonight!
Right off to pack clothes & food... brb probably!
