Oooo I been thinking of saving to get one but wanted to know if they taste as good as they say they do!?
 
Yep and yep...really good. One spoon of oil and really good chips... like oven chips. :) And if u folow the recipe and make 800g of chips... it gives nutritional info and 200g is just 2 points so tonight I had half of the 800g for just 4 points :D

Yer, I totally dig it and reccomend it to you all....even if it was £160! :eek::eek::eek:
 
I bought it on an impulse buy - I wanted chips and thought - man - I get so little for my points worth and yes the ones we make at home in the oven are ok....but they aint fried are they!!!
 
Really confused.... I am still off colour and yesterday managed to eat hardly anything - 12 points I think...but have gained 2lbs? What is that all about... Could it have been all the drink on saturday night? I mean 2 lbs - that's 7000 calories and I KNOW I have not had that much - I mean, I even stuck to points the day after on the hangover.... bodies are so weird.... :(
 
i sometimes find my body takes a few days to catch up so if i've been really good it doesnt show on the scales for a couple of days and neither does a gain when i've been bad
 
Well they do say if you dont enough points you can gain??? :sigh:

Bummer though when you are feeling rubbish,try and get your points back up over next couple days maybe...

Aww I feel your stress over WI result - been having a time of it meself and again for no reason! Grrr
I'm trying the Wendi plan this week which involves adding up your daily points and then having a Super High pointed day (must be at least 3 clear days before WI) then follow that with a Super Low pointed day and the rest just share out with rest of days!
They say its supposed to shake up your metabolism as it tends to get used to same amount of calories day in day out and doesn't budge ;oO

Ive often heard of people gaining when they feel rough and go under points...another one of life's mysteries I guess?!

I'd never heard of the actifry, but now NEED one :D...My hubby hates it when I impulse buy - things always end up in the bin or stuffed away in the cupboard lol x

ha ha we have a cupboard which is called-the cupboard for electrical equipment that we never use- my husband has a thing for labelling things. we also used to have the cupboard of bad karma, which was full and very messy and no one ever wanted to venture in there but now i've tydied it he calls it the cupboard of imroved karma. do you see what i have to put up with:p
 
Lou, sorry you're feeling rough still and not eating well.

My weighing experiment a couple of weeks ago showed that my weight fluctuated by 6lbs across the week - up and back down again and I wasn't doing anything different at all.

I suppose its why we shouldn't weigh in each day - unless we take what we see with a pinch of salt - to go with those lovely sounding chips!!!

Liking the sound of the Wendi plan, Tracey. Where did you hear about that?

Sorry re the small gain but the demon drink does help me keep the weight close by me and is one reason I've extended the drinks challenge for myself. Hopefully you'll be off downwards again very shortly.

Actifry - couldn't be without it. Not just because i love the chips but because OH uses it with gay abandon one of the few cooking items he does so double result. I'm experimenting with other bits in it and everything has been very successful so far.

I couldn't possibly divulge the contents of my naughty novel but, suffice to say, it was very naughty! I would have had to publish under a pseudonym - a friend of mine suggested I could call myself Myna Openlegs ;)

Thanks hun...have to admit, when I save points from wed-sat for sat night dinner out, and then low again for sun-tuesday before wed WI I lose better....! :)

I really need to stop doing it! I have to admit, where I did not eat much yesterday I also didn't really go bathroom, even for many wee's (TMI?) so I was prob full of water...
