♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

I am actually really looking forward to exercising tomorrow. I will do this and come october i want atleast level 6 on that shuttle run!!!! :giggle:

And I am SURE you will get that level too Tanya!!

Good luck on the exercising Tanya, I am sure once you get a few days out of the way you will adjust to it brilliantly.

I know I always say this - but I really do wish I liked exercising, but I dont get any good feelings out of it.

Mary im the same. I hate the thought of doing it but once ive done it i feel alot better but then i think oh i exercised ill have some chocolate ... thats what will be the hardest thing i reckon lol

I have eaten farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr too much today and im so not hungry. Not taking anything to work except £1 to buy some water and my mp3 player! :giggle:

Good start for your new start tomorrow Tanya. Take a piece of fruit though incase you get hungry later.

Mary I get nothing from exercising either. I've been to gyms - I was a member of curves 3 years ago & everyone would say 'OH don't you FEEL good when you've finished' and I'd be like knackered saying 'NO! I feel awful!'
And Tan - I too would be thinking - so how many calories have I burned off ie. what can I eat?!

10 years ago I did some running and I DID feel good after that (NOT during!) - I think I could have kept it up only I had an injury and though I desperately went to see sports therapists and private physiotherapists I SOOO wanted to keep doing it, it was only time that healed it and by the time it was better I'd gone off the idea  xx

Girls, you need to find something that you enjoy...no point doing it for the sake of it! You just wont stick at it at all...
Mary, you like badminton...wouldnt you take that up again?? Find a friend and just play for a laugh!!!

Jan; lost cause..haha..only joking...winding you up! You should be getting up and walking along every day/night and looking at that lovely water you see!!! ;-)!! OR get a dog :-0!! haha..

Tanya; I am sure you will love the running - enjoy it whilst you are young :) And I am sure the MP3 and music will help..

I sound like a right old "fart" and as though I am into exercise..I am NOT, I do it cause I have to, but I enjoy the activities I do, hence why never do anything like circuit training...JUST WAY TOO MUCH EXERCISE!! :)

I've got a dog! :) x

Meet Holly :) xx

Iris! Holly dog even has her own facebook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :giggle:

I felt fine in work last night, apart from drinking bottled water. For some reason it always makes me feel a little sicky. I left work at 4am so came home and straight to bed.

Woke up and thought 'oh dear lord. running today'. So i laid there for 10mins to wake myself up. Got outta bed and had a banana. Then got changed put me new trainers on and off i went!!

It was a 2mile course i did in 30minutes. 5 minutes warm up walk. 20minutes of intervals of 60seconds running, 90seconds brisk walking then a 5minute cool down. I knew the audio was 30mins so i planned to do 15mins then turn around and head back but as it happens 15mins takes me right down to marsh mills and up over the bridge and right back down the embankment the other side. Will try post my route for you guys to picture it :)

My thighs hurt but other than that i feel fab! Now the hard part, not eating anything 'nawty' cuz i have done exercise!

Got home from my couch to 5k and showered then had my bran flakes. I was going to have cheerios but i am sticking to my menus!! :)

Can't wait to do it again tomorrow! :)

Well done hun. When I used to live in Plym I always used to run along the embankment. It's a real good stretch to run a long and there was always some fit boys at the rowing club! (Don't know if it's still there?!)

I am glad I am not alone Jan :) I thought I was the only odd one that didnt get any buzz from exercising

Now - that IS an incentive to go running :8855:

Mary, I'm really into my badminton at the mo too, I absolutely love it and can't wait to play each week. I played friendly games for my club last season but hoping to make it into the B team this year. Shame we don't live closer, we could have a knock about.

Aww that is a shame Bev, I would have taken you up on that. I do have my own racquet, or is it spelt racket?.......:8855:

Have you thought about joining a club Mary? Best thing we've done in ages. We're so shattered after club night. 2 hours of running around like fools and we love it.

I used to play a few years ago when my Daughter lived in the same village, and we had monthly membership, but since she has moved away, none of my friends or Phill are interested, and to be honest, I wouldn't really like to go on my own.
