I don't want you to wish your life away but honestly a couple of years in the scheme of things, particularly career-wise, is not long at all! And you're learning all the time which I'm sure will stand you in good stead when you become a paid police officer. Do you get automatic entry into the force when a position becomes available or do you have to apply just like everyone else? Is it the same for forces around the world? Ie that there are cut backs? The reason I ask is when I lived in Bermuda nearly all the police were from the UK....don't know if you've ever thought about moving abroad....
 
Nope no automatic entry unfortunatley we have to apply like every other and even then people who arent specials still have exactly the same chance as us as getting in.

I'm really not in the mood to run today. I really really can't even stomach the thought of it for some reason. I will do a five miler tomorrow instead just so my mileage is still being upped each week.
Next week i will do the 4 runs i have to start getting 4 in now as its only 14weeks untill race day! Don't know what I was thinking about trying to run today I should know im always groggy saturdays.

Yeah, my alarm went off at 12 but i just couldnt move :giggle: So ended up getting up at 1 but ive got overtime tomorrow from 7am-12 so i will probably be tired tomorrow to but its got to be done!

OMG I have got to find some of those! I'm a huge fan of white chocolate too, particularly Milky Bar! A bit hefty on the calories though.....does anyone know if they do white kitkats? That would be heaven:D

Enjoy your day off from running, your body clock must be up the creek with the shifts so I'm not surprised that you don't always feel like it.....I feel like that about the gym some days and I've got no excuse! Tomorrow you'll probably have a brilliant run....
 
White kit kats.... Don't thinkso? But I bet they'd be nice!

Just changed my dinner decided to get some protein down my neck instead of more carbs.

Tan - don't be beating yourself up about the running schedule - you have to go with the flow to a certain extent and you KNOW you'll get it done, you're too determined not to!

Yeah this country is lame with foods! I saw America has peanut butter twix's!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a site online (cybercandy) where you can buy lots of stuff that the uk doesn't sell although it is a tad pricey!x

Mmmmm had roast parsnips twice last week instead of spuds, delicious!

I wonder if I can get those kitkats in France? The writing looked Japanese or Chinese or something didn't it? How mental is that? Isn't Nestle a Swiss brand? I'm on a mission now!

Change of plan for today, dad is treating us all to harvester so ive chosen gammon with pineapple. Will have some boiled eggs and oatcakes later on probably.

Run was ok today. Pace of 11.2min miles, a littler faster but not much. It was really hot today, i better get used to the sun beating down for race day! Although race is at 9am so it should be fine :)
